This isn't your average neighborhood fitness center; it's a large-scale facility designed to cater to a diverse range of fitness goals and preferences. From cardio and free weights to a swimming pool and a variety of group fitness classes, EōS Fitness aims to provide a high-value experience at a reasonable price point. It's a place where locals can find everything they need under one roof to pursue a healthier and more active lifestyle.
The gym's main floor is a key highlight, offering an impressive array of equipment that can accommodate different workout styles. One satisfied member specifically noted the "wide variety of equipment" and the "absolutely perfect" temperature in the sauna. The gym is known for its extensive free weights section, with dumbbells going up to 150 lbs, as well as state-of-the-art strength training machines and power lifting platforms. For cardio enthusiasts, there are rows of treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes. The sheer volume and variety of equipment mean that even during peak hours, members can often find a machine to use without a long wait. This is a significant convenience that contributes to a smoother and more efficient workout experience for locals.
Beyond the traditional gym floor, EōS Fitness in Peoria offers an impressive list of amenities that truly set it apart. The facility includes a swimming pool for lap swimming or low-impact workouts, and a hot tub and sauna for post-workout recovery and relaxation. The sauna is particularly praised by one reviewer for its ideal temperature, which is a great feature for unwinding and soothing muscles. The gym also offers unique amenities such as a "Cardio Movie Theater," where members can get their cardio in while watching a feature film. For families, the EōS Kids' Club provides a safe and engaging environment for children aged 2-12, which is a huge plus for parents who need childcare while they work out. These additional features make the gym a destination for more than just lifting weights; it's a place for holistic wellness and even entertainment.
A critical aspect of the EōS Fitness experience is its wide range of services. The gym offers a variety of group fitness classes, including cycling, strength training, dance, Zumba, yoga, and Pilates. These classes are led by instructors and provide a fun, motivating way to stay active with others. For those seeking a more personalized approach, EōS offers personal training services. A complimentary one-hour welcome workout is available to new members, providing a great opportunity to get a feel for the gym and learn about its training options. While the gym and its core services receive largely positive feedback, it is important for potential members to be aware of the nuances of certain add-on services. One review highlighted a difficult experience with canceling a separate stretching program, noting issues with billing and communication. This serves as a reminder to always read the fine print and understand the cancellation policies for any additional programs you may sign up for.
Overall, the atmosphere at EōS Fitness is generally positive and welcoming. The staff is often described as "very friendly," which contributes to a comfortable environment. June 26 · Molly ElephanteDO NOT SIGN UP FOR STRETCHINGLet me start by saying the gym itself is great—clean, spacious, and plenty of parking. No complaints there. But I strongly warn against signing up for the stretching program. Why? Because canceling it is a nightmare.I met with the stretch manager, Luis, who assured me my cancellation was processed and explained there would be one final 30-day billing cycle—which I understood and accepted. But after 30 days, I was still being charged $78 every two weeks.I reached out to Luis, and his only response was, “I’m not the manager anymore.”I then brought it to the facility’s management team, and they basically told me there was nothing they could do—but they would go ahead and cancel it now. I asked why I was still being charged even though I hadn’t attended another stretch session and clearly canceled a month earlier. No answers. No accountability. In the end, they finally canceled it—but only after I was charged an additional $234 for a service I never used.Be very careful. This program is designed to be difficult to get out of, and no one takes responsibility when things go wrong.
July 09 · Jon BallI’ve been a member at EOS for a while and usually have a good experience Everyone’s always nice and amazing but recently, I had an issue with a front desk employee named Adrian that really stood out in a negative way. He was extremely rude, dismissive, and sarcastic when I asked a simple question. There was no reason for the attitude, and it made the whole interaction uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Staff at the front desk set the tone for the gym, and this kind of behavior is unacceptable. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses it.
August 02 · joey fatoneTrial Experience Could Be More Reflective of Full MembershipI signed up for the 7-day trial to see if this gym would be a good fit for my lifestyle and fitness goals. I already have a home gym setup for strength training and cardio, so my main priorities in joining a gym are access to amenities I don’t have at home—specifically the swimming pool and massage chairs for recovery. However, when I arrived, the front desk staff informed me that the 7-day pass only includes basic gym equipment and does not allow access to amenities like the pool or massage chairs. This was a bit disappointing, as those features are exactly what I came to experience in order to make an informed decision about membership.I think the trial pass would be much more effective if it gave potential members a taste of the full experience. A more complete trial would not only help people like me better evaluate the value of a full membership, but could also lead to more confident and enthusiastic sign-ups.I would encourage the team to reconsider the limitations of the trial for future prospects.
June 22 · Shen WangDisappointed with Court HoursI joined EōS Fitness mainly for the basketball courts, but I'm really disappointed that they close them at 9pm. That’s way too early, especially for those of us who work late or prefer to play at night. Other gyms nearby keep their courts open until 11pm or even later, so there's no reason EōS can't do the same—especially since the rest of the gym stays open 24/7.It’s frustrating to pay for a membership and not have access to one of the main amenities during reasonable hours. Please reconsider extending court hours to at least midnight. A lot of members would appreciate it, and it would definitely set EōS apart in a good way.
