When you're searching for a gym in the Massachusetts area, Dirty Water Fitness is a choice well worth considering for several key reasons. First, the gym’s specialized focus on strength and conditioning, combined with expert-led personal and small group training, sets it apart from larger, more generic gyms. This is not a place where you're left to fend for yourself; the trainers are knowledgeable and patient, and they actively work with you to ensure proper form and safety, even with pre-existing injuries, as noted in a customer review. This level of personalized care is crucial for achieving long-term, sustainable results. The use of advanced technology, like the Perch velocity-based training system, further shows their commitment to providing a cutting-edge and evidence-based training experience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was new to the gym and visiting from out of town. Everyone there, both staff and clients were so friendly, the trainer was super knowledgeable and patient with a new person. He was so considerate of my injuries and spent more time with modifications and extra stretches without making me feel singled out. The technology they have for measuring depth and velocity with lifts was really cool, and I think would be so motivating for me. I'm disappointed I don't live nearby because I would be a client for sure!! But I would totally recommend Dirty Water Fitness to anyone wanting to get stronger, feel confident, and feel in safe hands when wanting to get strong while working through a recovered injury. It's hard for me to feel confident in a gym space and I left feeling motivated, strong, and for sure sore in the best way!
July 16 · Lizzy HopkinsI have been a member of Dirty Water Fitness since they opened their doors. I’m 62 and have never felt stronger. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm, even when they are kicking my butt! Run don’t walk to DWF!
March 10 · Mary KamitianBest gym evaaaa! When I moved here I was looking for a supportive and motivating gym community, and boy did I find it at Dirty Water! Trainers are awesome. People are awesome. They foster a great community in addition to being highly knowledgeable and skilled athletic trainers. Small group personal training gives me the social atmosphere of a workout class while allowing for 1-on-1 attention from the trainers, especially helpful for me as I have a few complex injuries they help me work around. I feel stronger than ever after 6 months working with them. Can't recommend enough.
February 25 · Tess FallonDirty Water Fitness has created something truly special with an exceptional group of trainers. Every class is well programmed, and each trainer has been knowledgeable and motivating to work with. I struggled with back pain for years, and being able to receive personalized attention has allowed me to grow so much stronger. I'm much more aware of my capabilities and coming here has been a huge part of my fitness journey. The trainers are very accommodating to modifications and I look forward to every class!
February 21 · Aila IkuseIt would be hard to overstate how different Dirty Water Fitness is from other gyms and fitness businesses in the area. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and take their job seriously, but always without judgment. The goals for clients are always about real strength and health, not physical appearance. And, best of all, the small group training hour is fun and filled with camaraderie. Highly recommend!
