★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I joined Club Pilates at Norterra in July 2024. I have been very pleased with the workouts. I feel stronger and more aware of what my body can do. The instructors are very knowledgeable and can help provide modifications as needed. I signed up for 6 more months of classes!
January 01 · Rae ConelleyI have been coming to Club Pilates Norterra for almost a year and every instructor is welcoming, helpful and ready to challenge you in the best ways possible. Every class is different and unique to the instructor which makes it something to look forward to every week. Kriztina, Reem, Jennifer, Kimberly, and Anne are so phenomenal and their humor, expertise, and compassion to their students keeps me coming back.I really want to give a shoutout to Reem, Pilates teacher extraordinaire! Today my 75 year old dad began his Pilates journey with me. She walked him through everything, showed him modifications and did so with a smile and a kind word. I am constantly amazed by how incredible this place is and today my dad was able to see exactly what I’ve been seeing for the last year.Thank you!
October 13 · Candice RThe instructors here are AMAZING, this is not a reflection of them at all.The owner of this specific location is EXTREMELY greedy and doesn't treat her members or her employees right. We had to relocate due to a family emergency with no notice and I missed notifying the studio 2 days after my billing cycle. She was unwilling to be flexible, listen, or care to accommodate flexibility. I will be paying for 2 full months in which I was not able to take classes since emergencies don't give billing notice. She pays her employees half of what other studios do for the headcount of members who show to classes and requires them to work when they're sick just to name a few...This is also one of very few studios who offer ZERO classes on Saturdays, which is a disadvantage to every member but she refused to change the schedule no matter how many members complain.
March 25 · Chantae WeirickI have really enjoyed the instructors and the classes, but the experience I had today was absolutely atrocious and further backs up what those have been saying about greed... I was running a few minutes late and walked in the door at 3:35 - I looked at my phone as I walked in. I had never been this late to a class before. The girl who was outside came in behind me as I was setting down my things and checked the time after me and informed me that it was now 3:36 and I had to leave and could not attend the class I had just shown up for, AND that I also would have to pay a $15 no-show charge. I pay a monthly membership fee to this studio and have been coming here over a month and have had a great experience up until today. I cannot fathom how a business could treat "members" like this and expect to keep them.I specifically asked questions on fees when I signed up and was informed that if I canceled a class less than 24hrs in advance I would be charged $15 - and I was and still am ok with this. But no one told me about this 5-minute policy as an excuse to rip you off. The girl claimed it was a "safety" policy, but I'm sorry - nothing you're doing in a level one reformer pilates class is going to injure someone if you miss the first 5 minutes and 3 seconds of the class. It's literally just an excuse to steal from consumers.I use an app and a portal on their website to sign up for classes regularly. I checked both of these and guess what? There's no mention on either of these about their 5-minute steal your money policy. Gotta love businesses with super sneaky hidden charges and fees that don't remotely value their "members."Had I been made aware of this policy in advance or if it was readily visible and I just missed it, I would not be nearly as upset. I would still think it's a pretty rude policy when it comes to valuing members, but I would also understand that this was on me - in this case, there was no way at all I could have known. The girl was not remotely apologetic and didn't care, and was literally looking for a reason to deny me entry (walking in behind me and then telling me it was too late) that I pay a lot of money monthly to attend. She even offered to give me a form to cancel my membership as I was leaving! Just trying to get rid of you I guess, but to be fair I don't even trust that they wouldn't try to charge me a bunch of other fees just for canceling either.Their regional manager is supposed to call me tomorrow, so if there is a positive update, I will provide that. I'm just shocked because I had nothing but good things to say until this afternoon and I cannot believe how I was just treated.
May 05 · Alison NicolosiI have felt so much better physically since I started. That was about a month ago. I absolutely love that I get to exercise laying down 😉
