Solstice Yoga Introduce
For North Carolina residents in the vibrant Durham area, Solstice Yoga stands out as a premier destination for transformative yoga practice. More than just a studio, it is a self-described community-driven sanctuary dedicated to dynamic movement, high-quality instruction, and deep inclusivity. Solstice Yoga is particularly renowned for its heated classes, which use state-of-the-art infrared heat—a system scientifically suggested to provide therapeutic benefits like pain relief and stress reduction, while creating a less humid, more breathable environment than traditional heating methods.
The core philosophy of Solstice Yoga is centered on accessibility and self-acceptance. The studio actively strives to be mindful, accessible, and inclusive, offering a mirror-free space that encourages practitioners to focus inward on how they feel, rather than on how they look. This welcoming atmosphere is often praised by local users, with one member noting, "The team is so welcoming and every time I practice here I feel free to take things at my own pace and listen to my own needs." Whether you are a seasoned yogi or stepping onto the mat for the very first time, the studio's diverse class types and intentional teaching styles ensure there is a practice for every body.
This establishment proudly identifies as both an Asian-owned and women-owned business, contributing to the rich tapestry of local entrepreneurship in the Triangle region.
Solstice Yoga is conveniently situated in Durham, making it a great option for community members in the city and surrounding areas looking for a consistent and high-quality practice.
The studio’s physical address is: 2400 Broad St #4, Durham, NC 27704, USA.
While the studio itself is committed to universal accessibility, users should note a specific feedback point regarding the building structure. However, once inside, the studio offers specific features to assist those with mobility needs:
- Wheelchair accessible parking lot

- General Restroom facilities
The central location on Broad Street is super convenient for daily commutes or weekend trips, placing this peaceful sanctuary right within a bustling part of the Durham community.

March 17 · Camryn WolffI absolutely love this studio! Not only are all the instructors so helpful and sweet, but the vibe and aesthetic of the studio is so calming and restorative. I always feel refreshed and energized after my classes here and have invited numerous friends to try their 2-week intro deal. As someone who loves working out, this community-run studio is a safe and inviting space to explore my yoga practice.
November 25 · Elyse VeloriaSolstice is my yoga home in Durham, somewhere I know I can return for both a solid physical and meditative yoga practice. Naomi offers students a lot of range within varying practice levels, and practicing with her guidance, along with several of the other teachers, has allowed me to slow down and refine my movements to build strength & resilience. It’s a beautiful, peaceful space with a mindful community. Thank you, Naomi & Solstice.
