★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Ashton is an amazing trainer. She has been my son personal trainer for almost over two years. My son is autistic and demands a lot of prompt , energy and patience. I am extremely happy with the progress my son has made since he joined the Gym. The owner and personnel have been very kind, professional and make all accomodations possible so my son is comfortable.
July 22 · ElfyKa AmaiaBMy go-to gym anytime I’m nearby. Plenty of good equipment and a ton of room to workout. Then I go to the smoothie place across the street for a post workout protein fix, and get some business cards printed, or door hangers for my business made fast and efficiently down the street at Gburg Print & Frame.
July 21 · DylanOne of the places I will miss most in Gettysburg.I have been a member of this gym for 3 years now, through both of their locations and I am now moving. The care that the crew takes in making sure the gym is clean, functional, and optimized can’t be overstated.I am not the most serious gym goer, but I have been a member of other commercial gyms, such as Gold’s Gym, crunch, and LA Fitness, and this gym blows them all out of the water. In terms of maintenance, and equipment quality AND quantity. For example, my Gold’s Gym had two squat racks, no deadlift platform, and 3 bench presses, in a gym where they had probably about 100 people there during peak hours, in a city of 200,000 people, causing wait times and ruining workouts for people who don’t have a lot of time due to their jobs such as myself. Here, that is not an issue and I don’t think I have had to wait more than a handful of times over the course of 3 years.I’d also like to applaud their range in terms of audience. Whether you are into powerlifting, bodybuilding, just trying to stay in shape or whether you are 8 to 80. They have something there for you and the staff are more than willing to help you with your goals. Thanks to GPG Phil and team
July 31 · Joseph ValleGettysburg Performance Gym (GPG) is by far, one of the best gyms I have ever worked out at.This is coming from someone who is very familiar with fitness facilities - from large fitness chains to hometown gyms to personal training studios.GPG is a gym centered around one critical aspect - achieving fitness results. It’s not a gym where people stand around talking, taking up space, and kind of working out just to say they go to the gym. Instead it’s a hometown gym with a results mentality vibe. It’s for people who want to take their health and results seriously, which should be the goal of everyone who has a gym membership.GPG is the perfect facility whether you are new to fitness or a serious athlete. They have ample equipment: functional, machines, free weights as well as a section of turf. Also, the owner of the gym has done an excellent job with hiring top notch trainers. From someone who started getting back into a serious routine approximately four months ago, I’ve approached each of the trainers when I needed help, whether it’s alternative exercises from the program I am doing, locating pieces of equipment or how to use specific equipment I am not accustomed to. They have been nothing short of helpful and friendly. In 3 short months, I’ve personally put on 8 pounds of muscle. I know this wouldn’t be possible without GPG. Thanks to GPG, the owner and their staff. Needless to say, I would highly recommend this facility.
July 14 · Michael ReynoldsGreat gym for strength training, they’ve got everything you need to get big and strong. Dropped in for a day and had a great workout. High quality barbells, power racks, squat racks, calibrated plates, a deadlift bar and jack. Also great equipment for Olympic lifting and CrossFit style workouts. Highly recommend.
