★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I really tried to give this place a chance for almost 5 months, but I'm done with it. I hesitated coming here for a long time because of what I have heard, but after someone recommended it I thought we would try, but there are several reasons why we will not go back.1. One of the coaches (I believe level 2 and/or comp) was so crazy for the first few months we went. She would yell and scream at her kids and do over the top dramatic movements showing her disappointment, super critical, and rude. Granted, my daughter was not in her class, but I sat there (seats are right front and center of everything) and watched and listened to that coach. I vowed my daughter would never be in her class. The last month she seems to have calmed down so maybe someone talked to her about it, but those 3+ months of her being unhinged was enough for me to want out. No coach should act like she did. Coaches should give feedback and show them what to do to improve, not be unhinged about it.2. I had to prove two times that I paid - shows they had bad bookkeeping. They also make it more expensive to do autopay which is annoying.3. The owners are cold and rude.4. Safety - one girl got hurt and her coach didn't seem phased or that he cared she got hurt. Also, the straw that broke the camels back was that my daughter was "jokingly" pushed off the beam by her teacher. My daughter after class said her leg was hurting. It wasn’t injured, but it did hurt for a bit for her. No coach should "jokingly" push someone off the beam. Overall, my daughter really liked her coaches and they seem really nice, but this was an immature move done by a young coach.
April 24 · Summer CarrollWhenever anyone asks about a gym recommendation, I’m quick to suggest Flames! Our experience has been wonderful over the last 5 years. I’ve seen so much growth in my daughter from year to year and the coaches truly care about the gymnasts. If you’re looking for a gym that will push your child, instill perseverance and dedication to the sport, and sprinkle some fun in along the way, look no further!!

February 25 · courtney dilliardWhat an exceptionally odd experiment attending here was. Both of my daughters were curious about gymnastics and I’m all about having them try new experiences, however the vibes were off here from the beginning for me and it was only a matter of time until my girls felt it for themselves too, and luckily for me that was yesterday’s evening class! I get that it’s probably lower in cost for a facility to hire highschool/college students to teach classes but every time I witness a business do that, I watch these young individuals flop when it comes to instructing young children, I can’t blame these employees though, it’s not like they’ve ever had children of their own! However, there’s an obvious lack of patience, a lack of grace, lack of confidence and a clear struggle in communication when it comes down to teaching some of these children five years old and younger. I knew it was only a matter of a time before it became an issue for my family. As a parent I have learned that this type of sport is perfect for other parents who pride themselves on having institutionalized emotionless robot children who just do everything they’re told without question or rebuttal. The asinine competitiveness in sports like gymnastics and dance has always been humorous to me as well though, from what I observed in our few classes we’ve attended here, it’s clearly not so much about ‘having fun’ for these kids, it is way more about silent submission and appropriating harsh criticism for the chance of a ‘win’. Definitely a strange box our family got to check off, so glad it’s over!
May 28 · Amber FoleyThis is our second attempt. Disappointing. The coaches here in the mornings for the K1 class treat the kids they know better than the new kids. they give the kids they know grace, but not the new kids. Do not come here.
