This local gem, proudly identifying as both Asian-owned and women-owned, has created a safe, genuine, and deeply supportive environment for people of all backgrounds and skill levels. CPY is not just a place to stretch and breathe; it is a sanctuary where you are welcomed like family, a place where you can find physical benefits, emotional support, and a profound sense of community. The studio’s commitment to providing a holistic wellness experience is evident in every service they offer, from group classes to personalized yoga therapy sessions.
For residents of Central Florida, finding a yoga studio that feels authentic and personal can be a transformative step on their wellness journey. College Park Yoga addresses this need with a unique approach that emphasizes genuine connection and deep knowledge. The owners, Theresa and Calvin, are described by their students as not only skilled instructors but also as caring mentors who invest in the lives of their community. This level of personal care sets CPY apart from larger, more impersonal wellness centers. The studio is a place where you can feel comfortable, whether it’s your very first time on the mat or you're a seasoned practitioner. The warm, inviting atmosphere and expert guidance make it the ideal place to explore the profound physical and emotional benefits of a consistent yoga practice.
College Park Yoga has become a cornerstone of the Orlando wellness community by fostering a sense of joy and belonging. The studio’s success is built on the genuine relationships formed between the instructors and their students. Members speak of how their practice at CPY has become a "core part of our lives," changing them for the better both on and off the mat. This is a place where "belly laughs" and "physical benefits" coexist, demonstrating that wellness can be a source of happiness and connection. CPY's mission extends beyond the studio walls, with offerings that include workshops, special events, and an online presence, ensuring that the community can continue to thrive and grow together. This commitment to its members and the broader community is what makes College Park Yoga a truly special place in the Florida wellness scene.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Sharing a long overdue review of one of our very favorite places, CPY.We tried a private class with Theresa in January of 2025 as a couple. My wife was much more familiar with what to expect, but this was my first class of any kind. I was honestly very nervous. From the moment we arrived that day - and now for nearly every single week now thereafter - Theresa and Calvin have made us feel like family. Aside from the extreme level of comfort we now both feel in their studio, our weekly practice is now a core part of our lives. We look forward to, and plan around (as best we can!) our Thursdays at CPY.The emotional and physical benefits of building a sense of community and joy around practicing yoga with Theresa has changed our lives. We honestly couldn’t imagine our weeks passing by without the belly laughs and physical benefits of our time together. We are better in our lives outside of our one hour session, and we overall are more grounded and mobile than we could ever imagine. Most importantly, the care we feel from Theresa is unmatched. She is genuine, knowledgeable beyond what worlds could describe here, and always takes an interest in what we have going on in our lives. She adapts our practice to what we need most, even when we don’t know what we need.I couldn’t recommend joining a class or having a private practice with Theresa and Calvin more. College Park is so lucky to have you both! Thank you for being a part of our lives and welcoming us into your family! Mike & Megan
August 23 · Mike McLaughlinCalvin and Theresa bring a deep level of skill, love, and knowledge to the practice of yoga. For those of us lucky enough to have them in our lives, they teach with great patience, skill, and a deep level of devotion. If you practice with them, you will be able to dive deep within yourself to find the joy, laughter, and inner awareness within yourself. Namaste
December 20 · Herbert BairdWelcome to a yoga class that’s all about meeting you where you are. At this studio, you’ll find a diverse community—people of all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities—coming together to practice in a space where healing is prioritized over competition. Here, the focus is on your breath, not perfecting every pose. The beauty of this practice lies in its simplicity. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just starting out, the instructors guide you to move in a way that honors your body’s needs in the moment. You’re encouraged to tune in, breathe deeply, and let go of any need to “get it right.”In this class, the goal is to help you reset your mind and body. Every breath is a chance to release tension and feel more present. It’s less about how the pose looks and more about how it feels. The studio’s philosophy is clear: Yoga is for everyone, and this is a place where you can reconnect with yourself, free from judgment or pressure. If you’re looking for a space that truly has its priorities straight—where the atmosphere is welcoming, inclusive, and focused on your well-being—this is the perfect class for you. Come as you are and leave feeling refreshed, rebalanced.
August 15 · Kristin AbramsonI left Orlando in 2006 and Calvin and Teresa are still the gold standard by which I evaluate all other yoga studios. They even brought in a big name instructor for a work shop once with several books to her name and I thought their classes were better. I guarantee you 99% of yogis would give them 5 stars. 65 reviews is incredibly low given all of the lives they've touched. Now that I'm back in Florida I need to make them a part of a central Florida trip. They are that awesome! Miss you two😘
October 14 · Christina TCollege Park Yoga is the best! I live across town, but always choose CPY because Calvin and Theresa are so encouraging and kind. The environment is great and I always feel amazing after each practice. 100% recommend!
