The teachers are known for their ability to guide students through a balanced practice, blending physical challenge with mental and spiritual calm.
The physical space of the studio itself is also a key feature. It is described as gorgeous and serene, providing a tranquil backdrop for your practice. Yoga 203’s offerings go beyond the in-person classes, recognizing the importance of flexibility in today's world. The availability of online classes ensures that members can maintain their practice from the comfort of their own home, no matter their schedule or location within Connecticut. This hybrid model makes it easier for people to stay consistent with their wellness goals. The studio also provides a variety of class styles to accommodate different moods and goals, from a more vigorous flow to a gentle, mindful movement class. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I can’t explain how much this haven of a yoga space has meant to me while living in Norwalk. When moving to CT, I was excited to try out a new yoga studio and was completely blown away to find this space. The studio itself is gorgeous, but what is even better is the people. The teachers are incredible and their openness attracts a clientele who are equally open-hearted and kind. Liz is one of the best yoga teachers I’ve ever had and she’s encouraged me to do inversions I’ve never had the guts to do before. I am moving back to NYC this fall and one of my greatest heartbreaks is not being able to come to this studio anymore! It’s an absolute treasure of a place.
July 20 · Yvette KYoga203 was the first yoga studio I tried after a bad experience over a decade ago that put me off going in person to classes. I'm so grateful that I found this studio! Katherina has created such a warm and welcoming space that I quickly let go of my worries on practicing in studio. All the instructors I took classes with (Katherina, Lisa, Priya, and Leslie) were so wonderful and balanced. I have moved out of state so no longer practice here but miss this studio and the environment dearly. Thank you to the team for building my confidence, knowledge, and love again for yoga .
July 14 · Rachel AlmondI moved to Norwalk from Long Island and missed the yoga studio I used to attend. I took a chance on Yoga 203 and was blown away!! Best yoga studio ever! The instructors are incredible and they explain poses really well. They make corrections in your posture, if you want and are always willing to answer questions. They are all so wonderful and friendly; as are the people in class. There are people of all ages, shapes and abilities and most importantly, it is a safe, judgement free place. Katharina, the owner, is such a wonderful person, who I’m sure is proud that her vision is doing so well. I absolutely love going to class and talking with the other people and instructors, who I now consider my Yoga family and friends. Namaste 🙏 💜💜💜🧘🏻♀️🧘🏻♀️🧘🏻♀️
March 16 · Julie GreensteinI live in the Waypoint building, which partnered with Yoga 203 last summer. As I pursued a healthier lifestyle, decided to experiment with yoga. The instructor, Priya, greeted me kindly and without judgement. As a novice, I thoroughly enjoyed the classes and found them to be greatly beneficial for my health. After the rooftop yoga sessions concluded in September, I felt compelled to keep attending classes at the studio, and I'm happy I made that choice. I eagerly anticipated Priya's classes and was excited to experience others. The studio is charming, serene, and well-kept. Katherina, the owner, is not only kind but also cherishes her patrons and holds the general ambiance of her studio in high regard. My experience there has been fulfilling, and I've been attending weekly classes since October. Up to this point, I have sampled various classes and can confidently say that each one has been outstanding. While I adore Priya's class, the owner's class is exceptional, I also found Lisa's class to be fantastic, and Kat's class to be very enjoyable. The studio features a range of excellent teachers, each with their own style, and although some may connect with you more than others, the ambiance at 203 Yoga is consistently welcoming. The studio boasts a variety of excellent instructors, each with their unique approach, and while some may resonate more with you than others, the overall atmosphere at 203 is very inviting. I'm a big supporter of local businesses, and I appreciate the convenience of this studio's location. Yoga 203 studio is a genuine gem in the community and is certainly worth a visit. I love Yoga 203!
January 29 · Courtney KernI have been practicing at Yoga 203 since shortly after it opened in 2018. When I moved to Norwalk from NYC, I had no idea I would find my tribe and vibe in this unassuming historical neighborhood. The instructors here have changed my practice in the most positive way, and I've moved away from an intense, fast-paced, commercial yoga style to a more mindful, introspective, and spiritual practice with the influence of Yoga 203. The studio is gorgeous, clean, and well-equipped and the patrons are a lovely, friendly bunch representing all facets of humanity. There is nothing intimidating or pretentious about the place; everyone is welcomed and the instructors are skilled at teaching for all levels. The owner is a modest young woman who teaches as well and maintains a warm, hospitable, and personal environment. This is my favorite studio I've ever been a member of in my 18 years of practice. Highly recommend!
