★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I love being a member at TriHealth Fitness Pavilion — the facility is always clean, the staff is great, and it’s an awesome environment for working out. One small suggestion: it would be even better if Friday and weekend hours could be extended a little later, maybe closer to the weekday closing times. It would really help those of us with busy schedules. Thanks for providing such a great place to stay active!
April 26 · Zachary HarrisToday, I visited TriHealth Fitness & Health Pavillion for the first time with a young man with autism whom I have worked with as a caregiver for the past five years. Upon arrival, I was informed that I could be designated as his personal assistant, which I accepted, and I completed the necessary documentation. I was also advised that my role required me to stay with him and that this designation did not grant me general access to the facility. This was completely understandable, as I have a membership elsewhere and was there strictly in a professional capacity.During our visit, I was responsible for ensuring that he could complete basic tasks independently—something he is more than capable of, as he demonstrates daily. After accompanying him to the pool area, I briefly stepped outside to retrieve my car so I could pick him up at the entrance due to the rainy weather. At that time, he was in the men’s locker room changing, which, of course, I am not permitted to enter. As I pulled up, a staff member, a short brunette woman approximately 60 years old (whose name I believe is Michelle), abruptly approached me and confiscated my personal trainer card. She stated, in a rude and unprofessional manner, “You have to be with him at all times. He was confused. I need your card back,” and then informed me that she would be calling his father.Given that I have worked closely with this young man for years, I immediately reached out to his father myself to explain the situation. We both understand his abilities, and what this staff member perceived as “confusion” was simply the natural curiosity of a 25-year-old man who is more than capable of exiting a building he had just entered without assistance. Furthermore, I was following the facility’s own guidelines—I cannot accompany him into the men’s locker room, yet I was reprimanded for not being physically present with him at every moment.I had been considering making this my home gym since it is convenient for both of us, but after this experience, I will not be doing so. Instead, I will be staying at Lifetime Fitness, where I have taken him many times and have always been met with kindness and a welcoming environment.I am both shocked and disappointed by the way I was treated and, more importantly, how he was unfairly profiled. A facility affiliated with TriHealth should uphold a higher standard of professionalism and inclusivity. I sincerely hope that this matter is addressed and that staff receive the appropriate training to interact with individuals of all abilities in a more respectful and informed manner.
April 03 · natalie nicoleI really enjoy coming to this gym! Madison does such a good job at instructing classes!
March 24 · Kate BytwerkTriHealth Pavilion is a superior facility- very clean, well staffed and mostly very "adult". The fitness equipment is excellent and I truly appreciate the self-monitoring aspect of the machines. The fitness staff is generally very good. They are very supportive of the members who are older or have special needs. The locker rooms are nicely appointed and maintained. The quality of classes are very good. My only wish is that there were more classes offered in late afternoon/evening hours for those of us who still work. We used to go to Blue Ash Y and switched after my husband did therapy in the warm water pool. It is nice to work out without sharing the facilities with running, noisy kids. Don't get me wrong- I am a teacher- love kids and also enjoy getting a break from them!
September 06 · Melissa BroomeI have had physical therapy here several times over the years. This includes aqua therapy in one of their two pools. The therapists are, in my opinion, great. Always with a lookout to your comfort, yet still making sure they are doing all they can to ensure your therapy progression.Although I've never had the pleasure of working out in the gym, or running on the indoor track, I have seen them and was very impressed. The Pavilion has so much to offer it would take pages to list it all. And though membership may be a bit on the expensive side, it doesn't compare to the benefits they offer. The facility is always neat and clean and I've never had a bad experience at the 'Pavilion'.
