I always felt self conscious or like I didn't fit in. From day one Dan made me feel comfortable and welcome. There are a variety of members, those who have trained for years and those just starting out. Every single person is supportive! An individual victory is a victory for all. Every class starts with a group warm up and ends with high fives. If you are ready to start on a healthy journey, this is the place for you. January 27 · Karen GravelineTraining for Warriors has been a life saver for me. When I first started at TFW I was extremely overweight and a couch potato. I knew I needed to get healthy but had had bad experiences at other Fitness Centers/gyms and although I had several DVD’s to work out at home, I always had an excuse why I couldn’t find time to do them. . When you’re that overweight you feel judged and embarrassed to be seen in workouts clothes and go to a gym. So I never stuck with it. Dan was amazing and patient with me teaching me the various exercises and and adjusting the workout to each inviduals fitness level. He is always watching to make sure your technique is correct to prevent you from hurting yourself. The environment is very encouraging and non-judgemental. It’s like a family. Everyone encourages/helps each other. There is a mixture of young and old, thin and overweight. I’ve had great success with Dan. I would strongly recommend Training for Warriors!
