The LIV Method UES Introduce
liv method ues
In a city with countless fitness options, The LIV Method UES distinguishes itself as a premier destination for those serious about their health and well-being. This is not a typical large, crowded gym, but rather a boutique training studio that focuses on personalized attention and a holistic approach to fitness. Located on the Upper East Side, The LIV Method provides an environment that feels both luxurious and genuinely supportive, where every individual's journey is a priority. The studio's commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere is evident from the moment you step inside, making it an ideal choice for New Yorkers seeking a more private and dedicated workout space.
The philosophy behind The LIV Method goes beyond simply counting reps; it's about building a strong mind-body connection and developing long-lasting habits that lead to sustainable results. The studio emphasizes the importance of a tailored program, ensuring that each client's unique background, goals, and challenges are taken into account. This highly specialized approach is what sets it apart, offering a level of service that is both effective and deeply personal. It's a place where you're not just a number, but a valued member of a community, and this sense of belonging is a key part of the transformative experience that The LIV Method offers.
The LIV Method UES is conveniently located at 157 East 86th St 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10028, USA. This Upper East Side location places it right in the middle of a bustling urban hub, making it easily accessible for residents and professionals in the area. Its position on East 86th Street means it is a short walk from major subway lines and bus routes, allowing for a seamless commute to and from your training sessions.
As with many places in the city, parking can be a challenge. The studio notes that paid street parking is available, which is a common and manageable option for those who drive. The studio's presence on the third floor contributes to a sense of privacy and exclusivity, offering a quiet escape from the noise of the city streets below.

Choosing a fitness center in New York often comes down to what you value most in your health journey, and The LIV Method UES offers a compelling set of reasons to choose it. The personalized approach to training is a major draw for people who are serious about seeing results. A customer review perfectly encapsulates this sentiment: "my trainer Edison is a truly exceptional teacher/motivator with a deep understanding of the body and how to make it stronger. In just a short period of time I feel and look better than I have in years and I’m excited to keep pushing forward on this journey." This kind of transformative experience is what many people seek and find at this studio.
The studio’s commitment to recovery and wellness is another key differentiator. The "spa" suite, with its sauna, cold plunge, and steam room, is a major highlight. As one reviewer mentioned, "I’ll also add that the spa (ice bath, sauna, steam room) has been so therapeutic that I leave feeling like I just got back from a vacation." This emphasis on recovery as a crucial part of the fitness journey provides a value that many other gyms simply don't.
While a reviewer noted that the recovery features aren't immediately obvious to someone just walking in, the fact that they exist and are highly regarded by those who use them speaks to the depth of the studio's offerings. The friendly and welcoming staff, as well as instructors like Alicia, are also consistently praised for creating a supportive environment where people feel comfortable and motivated. The LIV Method UES Reviews
Alicia is a great instructor! I really enjoyed the Athletic Flow class I took, and was able to engage in exercises that are different from my usual routine. I love getting a good sweat in, and I’m happy I stopped by. I did not get to use the sauna or recovery features the gym boasts, but maybe I will come back and get to try them. No one actually mentioned them to me when I arrived, so I you would not know that they offer those services by just walking in.

August 21 · Joseph KlarI was really excited to try the LIV Method, but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The consultation call with the founder felt less about me a consultation and more about trying to sell me something. I am a big fan of group fitness, so it wasn't a difficult decision to try their group class on Saturday, but it wasn't what I anticipated. There is no front desk staff, so I wasn't greeted when I got there. The space is absolutely beautiful, but the price of a class totaled $50 (more than most NYC boutique studios) and the instruction was nowhere near as personalized. There was personal training sessions happening all around the class and music playing, so I could barely hear the instructor at times. It felt like the programming wasn't planned in advance or intentional and it simply didn't feel very organized. There were 8 people in the class and I didn't receive any personal instruction. For the price I paid, it simply wasn't worth it. While the amenities are gorgeous, you have to pay additional money for access to the recovery spa. Unfortunately, I won't be returning as I believe there other studios in NYC with a better value.
June 04 · Natalie ZisaAbsolutely love The LIV Method! The UES location is beautiful and the location is extremely convenient. The instructors are the BEST and of the highest quality. The personalized plan and one-on-one attention has been such a game changer. Could not recommend it more!
