StretchLab Introduce
Hello, New York! In the hustle and bustle of city life and the vibrant suburbs, taking time for your physical well-being is more important than ever. While traditional gyms and fitness classes are fantastic for building strength and endurance, there's a unique and increasingly popular wellness modality that's often overlooked but incredibly beneficial: professional assisted stretching. If you're looking for a way to improve your mobility, reduce muscle tension, and enhance your overall athletic performance, we have a place for you to explore right in your backyard. Welcome to StretchLab, a fitness center in Amherst, NY, that's completely dedicated to the art and science of stretching.
Located in the heart of Amherst, just a short drive from Buffalo, StretchLab is not your typical gym. Instead of rows of treadmills and weight machines, you'll find a serene and inviting space where the focus is entirely on you and your body's specific needs. It's a place designed to help you unlock your body's full potential, whether you're a seasoned athlete looking to prevent injuries or someone who spends all day at a desk and needs relief from stiffness and pain. The highly trained "Flexologists" at StretchLab work with you one-on-one, using a variety of stretching techniques to improve your range of motion and leave you feeling revitalized.
This isn't just about touching your toes. Assisted stretching goes deeper, targeting muscle groups that are often difficult to stretch on your own. It's about a personalized approach, where each session is tailored to your unique body and goals. From improving posture to recovering from intense workouts, the benefits are both immediate and long-lasting. This comprehensive approach to physical wellness is what sets StretchLab apart, making it a valuable addition to the fitness landscape for residents across the greater New York region.

August 17 · Chris NaugleI Went for my first stretch yesterday , it was a 50 minute hands-on whole body stretch. I work out and take Pilates classes 6 to 7 days a week and stretch after each, but this stretch reached places that I cannot get to and felt it so much deeper with the assistance and control . My hips and back Were the reason for my initial visit, but will definitely be back as my whole body felt better, looser and More mobile. I appreciate Dion for working with me on my stretch, he is very professional, friendly, informative and performed the service beyond my expectation. The facility was clean and inviting, I highly recommend .
January 21 · Diane HoltI have to admit I was wary of going to Stretch Lab. I wasn’t sure if would be the right fit for me. From the moment I walked in, the people who work here have been wonderful. From the front desk to the people who work directly with me I have found everyone to be kind, professional and knowledgeable. Each session is tailored to your needs. My body feels looser in the areas of concern and overall I feel better. I have worked with Jonathan and Miranda and both have been wonderful in making me feel comfortable and providing my muscles what they need. I would recommend StretchLab to anyone, any age. Thank you.
November 20 · Lindsey Michael'sHighly recommend Jake! I’ve been here twice now and signed up for a monthly membership. Getting stretched has helped enhance my workouts, especially Yoga and Piyo. Everyone here is extremely welcoming and very friendly.
January 15 · D GI’ve been going to this studio for over a year. It has been a great experience. I truly believe that this form of passive stretching cannot be replicated by yourself. It is so helpful for many of my joints; including hips, knees, shoulders….I try not to go more than two weeks without a stretch. It makes a world of a difference that lasts.Jonathan has been my stretchologist and has been wonderful.I thank the entire staff there for their caring ways and commitment.
