★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve had the pleasure of taking multiple mat and reformer classes at SOLMAR Pilates with both Isabel and Elona, and I’ve absolutely loved every experience! The studio has such a calming and welcoming vibe – it’s the perfect place to focus and push yourself. The space is always clean, well-lit, and beautifully designed, making it easy to feel comfortable as soon as you walk in.I have taken classes with Isabel and Elona, who have incredible teaching styles. They each bring a unique energy to their classes, offering clear instruction, personalized guidance, and a mix of encouragement and challenge that makes you want to keep improving. They really know how to balance the pace of the class, whether you’re just starting or have been doing Pilates for a while. I’ve left every class feeling stronger and more aligned. If you're looking for a studio that feels like a community and offers top-tier instruction, I highly recommend SOLMAR Pilates!
September 11 · Zoë PetridesI have been taking classes at Solmar on and off since the summer and I cannot say enough good things about this studio. They work with any skill level and make each class feel intimate and personalized. There is such a sense of community in this space that you won’t find anywhere else in Philly. Isabel genuinely cares about the environment she is creating. You can tell by the careful thought out design, attention to every little detail, and her welcoming presence as soon as you come through the door. It is such a great space and it makes you feel comfortable and right at home. Everyone I have encountered in this studio has been so lovely and I look forward to coming to class each week. I recommend starting off with the new client special as you get a private session that gives a lot of insight about your body/alignment and allows you to be more attentive to yourself during class.
January 16 · Julia LoweI've been attending both mat and reformer Pilates classes at Solmar for a while now, and every visit continues to impress me. Regardless of the instructor, I always leave not only feeling the satisfying burn of a great workout but also more informed about my body and how to support it through better daily habits. The studio is clean, well-maintained, and creates a welcoming environment. The instructors are attentive, hands-on, highly professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. I highly recommend giving Solmar a try—you’ll feel the difference.
July 14 · Louisa B.I can't say enough good things about Solmar Pilates! Lauren's reformer classes have quickly become a highlight of my week. Her energy is warm and welcoming, and she creates such a supportive, positive environment for everyone—regardless of experience level.I’ve enjoyed every class so much. Lauren strikes the perfect balance between challenge and encouragement. I’ve noticed real improvements in both my strength and flexibility since I started attending.Highly recommend to anyone looking to build strength, gain confidence, and just feel amazing overall!
May 28 · Priyal GanapathyLove solmar!! Took my first ever pilates classes here (mat and reformer). I have also done a yoga class. The instructors are so nice, everyone is friendly, and the environment is welcoming. I did the new client special and found the assessment with Isabel to be really helpful. I particularly like that all the instructors at this studio will ask at the beginning of each class if anyone has any injuries or anything bothering them. Additionally, they will actually come around and correct your form in the group classes! I’ve been to workout classes before (barre for example) that claim this will happen and it never does or is rare. It helps you learn the movements, get the most out of the work out, and prevents injury. You can’t really go wrong with any of the classes because of how great the instructors are. I’ve taken classes with Diane, Isabel, Kristin, and Gary and they’ve all been amazing. The workouts go by quick because it’s quite fun.
