What is Worth Choosing?
Choosing a fitness center in Coral Gables is a personal decision, and offers a very distinct value proposition that may or may not be the right fit for you. What is worth choosing about is its specialization and high-quality, targeted workout. Unlike a large, multi-purpose gym, focuses on one thing and does it exceptionally well. The workout itself is scientifically designed to be effective and efficient, providing a full-body challenge in just 50 minutes. This is perfect for those with busy schedules who want to maximize their time at the gym.
However, it's also important to consider some of the factors mentioned in customer reviews. The studio operates with strict policies, such as a narrow grace period for class entry and firm cancellation fees. For some, this policy-centric approach may feel less human-centric and less flexible than what they might expect from a community-focused business. The challenge of finding the location and navigating parking, as mentioned by a reviewer, is also a valid point to consider, especially for first-time visitors. While the studio has made efforts to mitigate this with validated parking and directions, it's a detail that a potential client should be aware of.
Ultimately, if you are a local in Florida looking for a no-frills, challenging, and effective workout that is guided by expert coaches, and you are comfortable with a structured, policy-driven environment, is worth considering. Its unique method, combined with a dedicated community, can lead to incredible results and a newfound appreciation for your own strength. It's an investment in a specific kind of fitness, and for those who embrace the challenge, the payoff is significant. For the best experience, we recommend planning ahead, understanding the policies, and arriving with a willingness to be pushed beyond your comfort zone.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I signed up for the 2-week trial and experienced very bad customer service. I had booked 2 classes over the weekend of Mother's Day and had to cancel within less than 12 hrs due to being so sick with the flu. I could barely get out of bed but still managed to cancel. I was charged $70 for those 2 cancellations which is almost the full amount I paid for the "intro 2-week trial", unbelievable! When I called to explain what happened, hoping they would waive this ridiculous fee (also you would think they want to retain a potential client after the trial), they stuck to their company policy and only waved half. Not even the manager was helpful. I am never going to this studio again and highly encourage them to re-think their methods of client-interactions to be more human-centric instead of policy-centric. Sweat 440 has amazing customer service btw!
June 02 · Cristina CrespoDon’t waste your time. This location is a pain to find and parking is so confusing. The 5 minute grace period is irrational and something I’ve never encountered at any other solidcore studio. I arrived in the general area well ahead of time for the class, but between parking, figuring out how to get from parking to the studio, and figuring out exactly where the studio is took way too long. I showed up at the 6 minute mark and was refused entry. This is a huge disappointment, and I can’t imagine this location will be here for the long-term.
May 16 · Richard SauermanBeautiful location (a bit confusing if its the first time you go there). Today was my first class with coach Chelsea and she is absolutely AMAZING! The music was fire and the class was intense in the best sense of the word. Great for first timers, she will help you with any questions you might have and correct your posture if necessary. Very attentive, overall a great experience! :)
September 03 · Sofia MartinezThis solidcore location is the most difficult and least understanding location. The 5 minute late policy is handled with zero to no understanding or leniency. If it was consistent across all locations, I would understand but I have visited the Brickell location and have had friends who go to it as well and have been let into a class when they are over 7 minutes late. I was late by 6 minutes and gave the front desk a call letting them know to please let teacher know. I arrived at 6:22. 7 minutes over the start of class time and got escorted out while being yelled at by Quinn over the microphone. Not only did I find it extremely dramatic but it was embarrassing. I usually never write reviews and understand a policy but if it is not enforced the same across all locations it is not a company "policy". The classes are good but rush hour in miami and work traffic is real. Everyone has times of being a few minutes late to their workout. The consequences of 2-3 minutes late is unreal for this studio and is much less understanding than any other solidcore location. After paying a $89 for the 2 week unlimited, I have paid just about the same if not more in being 3-5 minutes late to 2 CLASSES, that I was not even able to take.
May 20 · Bella LyonI’ve done over 60 solidcore classes throughout the country and this one in particular happens to be in a beautiful location!! I love the Gables area. Class itself is the same as any other solidcore class. When it comes to people being late/early to classes something that would help is implementing the 10minutes on the hour start times, as that’s worked out super well for me when leaving work and getting to class in time.
