Sealevel Hot Yoga Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For those in the Washington region seeking a deeply transformative and disciplined fitness practice, Sealevel Hot Yoga stands out as Seattle’s premier and longest-running studio specializing in the traditional Bikram-method Hatha Yoga. Nestled in the heart of the distinctive Fremont neighborhood, this studio offers more than just a workout; it provides a structured, therapeutic, and mindful journey designed to foster optimal health and wellness of the body, mind, and spirit. Sealevel Hot Yoga has built a reputation over many years for its unwavering commitment to the integrity of the practice and the quality of its instruction.
The core offering is the famous "26&2" hot yoga series, which consists of 26 postures and two breathing exercises practiced in a room heated to challenging temperatures—typically 105 degrees Fahrenheit with 30 to 40 percent humidity—to warm the muscles, prevent injury, and facilitate a deep detoxifying sweat. The consistent, informative dialogue delivered by the studio’s knowledgeable instructors ensures that every client, from a first-time beginner to a long-practicing yogi, understands the proper alignment and best approach for gaining maximum benefit from each pose. This dedication to form and personalized feedback is a consistent highlight for local Washington practitioners.
The studio’s philosophy centers on the idea that yoga is a transformational journey. By challenging the mind to build concentration and focus alongside physical strength and flexibility, clients experience benefits that extend far beyond the mat. Sealevel Hot Yoga is committed to creating a supportive and welcoming community, emphasizing that all bodies are welcome in their space. This focus on high-quality instruction and genuine inclusivity solidifies its position as a go-to destination for serious hot yoga practitioners throughout the Puget Sound area.

Services Offered
Sealevel Hot Yoga specializes in the classic, highly structured system of hot yoga but offers variations to fit modern, busy schedules in Washington. All services are conducted onsite in their purpose-built, heated studio.
- The Traditional 90-Minute 26&2 Class: This is the studio’s signature offering, consisting of the full 26 postures and two breathing exercises, with two sets of each posture. It provides the most comprehensive and foundational practice for building a strong, sustainable yoga journey. The room is heated to approximately 105°F with humidity.
- The Abbreviated 60-Minute 26&2 Class: A faster-paced option following the same sequence but typically with one set of some postures, perfectly designed for Washington residents who need to fit a profound physical and mental reset into a tight, one-hour schedule.
- Yin Yoga: A restorative, therapeutic class that focuses on long-hold, passive poses to gently work the connective tissues, increasing flexibility in the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, and spine. This offers a counterbalance to the intensity of the hot Hatha classes.
- New Student Introductory Offer: An excellent package for first-time visitors in the Seattle area, typically offering two weeks of unlimited access to all yoga classes for an affordable price, often around $59, allowing new clients to test the waters of hot yoga thoroughly.
- Drop-in Classes: Available for single sessions, ideal for intermediate or expert yogis who are visiting Seattle or practicing on an irregular schedule, priced around $28.00 per session.
- Class Packs and Unlimited Memberships: A variety of packages, including 5, 10, and 20-class packs (valid for up to a year) and monthly unlimited visit plans, are available to provide cost-effective options for committed, local practitioners.
- Rental Services: The studio provides essential rentals for convenience, including yoga mats and towels, ensuring Washington residents can easily practice even if they forget their gear.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve taken the 90-minute, 26&2 class at the studio many times. Sealevel Hot Yoga has absurdly high quality and knowledgeable teachers. The instructors are able to periodically deliver direct feedback unique to each student while also delivering a consistent, informative dialogue throughout class. This feedback is tremendously helpful in building awareness of proper alignment and best approach to gaining the most benefit from each pose for a yogi at any level or point in their practice. I’ve always been very happy with the temperature in the room, as I favor a more hot and humid class environment. The room is rectangular, allowing for more mirror space to be shared. And the studio’s changing room is quite large which makes it easier to navigate at busier times. The studio is a beautiful place to practice. And parking isn’t too hard to find (though I’ve usually gone to early morning classes). For having ample mirror space, a room temperature to my personal liking, and the ability to deliver direct student feedback, Sealevel Hot Yoga has been my favorite place to practice 26&2 in Seattle.
September 07 · Cindy LongoriaThis studio offers a hot yoga series that stretches and strengthens every part of the body. All of the yoga instructors are knowledgeable and helpful, keeping the instructions clear even for beginning yogis. I highly recommend this studio to everyone from novice to expert. 🧘♀️🙏🧘🙏🧘♂️
March 22 · Jennifer WeissI tried a 90 minute class with Baisden. It was just okay. The room never got hot enough to feel like a bikram class. I was really looking forward to detoxing so I left a little disappointed because you can't just "build your own body heat" in a bikram class in the same you could a vinyasa flow.Hard upsell on purchasing a package after class and while I would give this studio another try, I wasn't ready to join.I'm new to the area and still looking for a HOT "hot yoga" studio. Haven't found it yet.
January 08 · CAnna was welcoming and is a wonderful instructor! We enjoyed reigniting our yoga practice with her this morning. We look forward to returning soon. Thank you and namaste.
February 12 · Diana NaramoreThe studio is very warm and inviting and the instructor Eve was amazing. The hot room has a really intimate feel with beautiful dark wood floors and a skylight above where I set up. The womens locker room was also large, with two restroom stalls and two shower stalls in addition to lockers and ample benches for sitting and counter space for getting ready. I noticed that the showers only had one dispenser, I imagine for soap so bring your shower supplies! One important thing to note is that parking is a pain in the XXX. I tried coming to class the night before and I could not find a space! Later in the evening, many of the side roads are permit only so your best bet is to try to find a space on 36th but the street is super busy and it isn't well marked. I drove around for 30 minutes before I gave up, but when I arrived for the 6 a.m. this morning, there was plenty of parking and it was so early, I didn't have to pay! If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely go back but take an uber or lyft!
