★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Today was my first workout at Rack House, and I couldn’t have felt more welcomed! I was invited by my friend Katelyn for buddy week, she’s been telling me for months about this place! Both the coach and owners greeted me right away, making me feel like it fit right in. The workout was tailored to my fitness level, ensuring I felt challenged yet accomplished. The atmosphere is warm, supportive, and encouraging—perfect for anyone looking for accountability and motivation. I highly recommend it!
February 21 · Melanie FlynnI joined the Mamas & Minis class when I was 7 weeks postpartum with my second child. Coach Suz is amazing! She is so knowledgeable about fitness in general, but specifically how to train while pregnant and postpartum. She made sure each mom in class had the appropriate variation of each movement and was moving safely the entire time. She was also happy to rock or shush our babies so we could finish our workout :) I can’t recommend mamas & minis enough to anyone looking to get back into fitness after having a baby! Not only is it a great workout, but it’s a fun way to get out of the house and meet other moms going through the same experience as you.
July 30 · Haley MoriconiWhile I've been a member of Rack House for 5 years I most recently did their postpartum strength and endurance class, "Mamas and Minis", with Coach Suz Wells. Her classes are designed with core and pelvic health in mind while also tailoring to individual symptoms/needs. If you live in the area and can sign up for this class it is a must for supporting recovery in an inclusive environment. It's a great place to bring your babe and connect with other moms who are going through the same thing you are. This class really helped me to regain my confidence and strength in the gym. I do not think I would have been as prepared as I was to start taking group classes again.
July 30 · Krysta BanfieldI took Coach Suz’s Moms and Minis class when I was about four months postpartum and absolutely loved it (so much so that I signed up for a second session)! Suz is such a welcoming, positive, and upbeat coach! She is extremely knowledgeable, especially about postpartum recovery and pelvic floor health. I really appreciated how she explained the “why” behind the movements and made sure we were exercising safely. One of the things that stood out most to me was how adaptable and accommodating she was. If I was wearing my baby in a carrier or experiencing pelvic floor symptoms, she always had alternative movements ready. She truly understood the unique challenges of working out as a new mom.Coach Suz was also amazing with the babies! If one of them started crying, she didn’t hesitate to help—pushing strollers or even holding a baby so mom could finish a set.If you’re a mom looking for a good workout, a way to get out of the house, or somewhere to meet other moms and their babies, I can’t recommend Coach Suz and her Moms and Minis class enough!
August 18 · Breanna MartignettiI've been to a lot of good gyms (and some bad ones), been a member at a couple of exceptional ones, and Rackhouse has the best community I've ever seen. The owners and coaches have created an extraordinary atmosphere that provides a space for all comers. Are you a games athlete looking for a serious place to challenge yourself? Are you a middle aged mom of three looking to make your ex jealous? Are you a high school kid with more energy than sense who needs help learning how to lift? Did your geriatrician tell you you need to move more or you're dead in a decade? Do you need friendly faces and high energy to get you out of bed at 0445 and that's the only time you have to work out? Rackhouse has you covered. The coaching here is solid, with everyone bringing good energy, empathy, and technical skills to the table. The programming is varied and seasonal; you'll be prepped for the open, sweating ahead of beach season, and lifting heavy in the winter. There are frequent events through the year where the gym really shines. From game nights to entire families coming out for Murph, this is a gym where you can't help but find a place and people to keep you motivated for more. The gym itself is well-proportioned, clean, and the equipment maintained. There's enough weight that you don't have to hoard or share to get your pump on. The bathrooms are always clean and heat is usually on first thing in the morning in the winter.
