We understand that our community values authenticity, quality, and a welcoming atmosphere. At our studio, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional yoga experience that is inclusive, supportive, and truly transformative. From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll be welcomed like a regular, as one of our new students shared, making you feel "right at home."
At Portland Yoga Collective, our mission is to create a space that fosters well-being on and off the mat. We are a women-owned business, built on a foundation of genuine care and a passion for sharing the practice of yoga with everyone. We believe that yoga should be for all bodies and all people, which is why our studio is intentionally designed to be an LGBTQ+ friendly and transgender safespace. Our instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at creating a class experience that is both challenging and restorative. They pay close attention to each student, even in a group setting, ensuring that everyone feels seen and supported. For instance, a bachelorette party group was particularly grateful for our instructor, Jess, who "made sure she had the proper set up" for a pregnant participant. This kind of thoughtful, personalized attention is a hallmark of our teaching style.
We are proud of the community we have built, one that is vibrant, kind, and deeply connected. Our studio offers more than just classes; it offers a sense of belonging. The energy here is described by our members as "amazing," with the studio itself being "spotless and fully equipped with all the props you might need." We strive to maintain a beautiful, clean, and organized space so you can focus on your practice without any distractions. This commitment to quality and community is what makes us a favorite among locals and a place where you can feel connected not just to the practice, but to the people around you.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I absolutely loved everything about my experience at PYC. I started with the new student pass, and by my second day, the team already knew my name and welcomed me like a regular—it made me feel right at home. Every class I took was amazing, with knowledgeable instructors and great energy. The studio itself is spotless and fully equipped with all the props you might need. I even joined an external class and had the chance to connect with the staff and some of their family members—it was such a warm and special experience. Truly the best yoga studio experience I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
August 06 · Danielle HerreroJess is amazing!!!! We just had a bachelorette yoga class and it was perfect. We have a pregnant girlie in the group and she made sure she had the proper set up. 100% recommend coming here!! Thank you for such an incredible class!!
June 20 · Poseidon ScanlonI am in town visiting for 10 days and tried out PYC’s new student offer. I took 4 of the Sweat and Pilates classes and loved them!! The instructors I took with (Jennifer, Tizzy, Grace) were all wonderful. I love how the classes move to the beat of the music and are challenging, yet approachable. I love that free mats are offered and the use of all the props. I got such good workouts in each of these classes and will definitely be back next time I am in town!!
April 21 · Melissa FrohmanI discovered this studio shortly after moving back to Portland. In addition to being only a 10 minute walk from home, my experience has been wonderful. The staff is welcoming (especially Jess, Tizzy, and Christine) and greet you by name. The studio offers a variety of classes and each one is taught a little differently so I don't get yoga boredom! I sometimes go to yoga right from a run so it's convenient that I'm able to keep my yoga mat at the studio as a yearly member. While I may be the studio's oldest member, I never feel out of place.
June 09 · Joan SarlesThe owner, the staff, and the studio spread their arms around you and welcome you into a peaceful space and practice. They are so reasonably prices and conveniently located. i'm bummed I did not find them sooner but grateful I've found my new yoga home now.
