What kept me going back to Orange Theory Fitness (OTF) over any other gym is the community. I’ve tried multiple gyms in the past and had memberships for places longer than I ever had with OTF, but the truth is that I never stuck to a regiment of keeping myself in check until I signed up here. The people that I worked out around ended up becoming my friends, and my friends helped push me to be better, so much so that I was able to actually be committed and train for even bigger events outside of the studio such as the Chicago Half Marathon and the Chicago Marathon. I seriously don’t believe that I would’ve been able to accomplish these milestones without the help of a place like this. And I’m looking forward to tackling new challenges alongside my OTF crew. Highly recommend giving this studio a try above any other if you can!

The coaches at OTF South Elgin are amazing—very friendly, motivating, and disciplined about watching the clock. Playlists are great (most of the time!). And the members are friendly and supportive. The studio is always clean too!
January 08 · Abby MOrangetheory is an amazing workout - the accountability and group energy is perfect. The South Elgin location is awesome! I had been going to another location and then moved and have been coming to the SE location. The front desk crew, coaches, and other members have been friendly and welcoming! The coaches will push you and encourage you to help you get stronger, faster, better! Definitely come check it out!!
November 09 · Diana HultbergI’ve been to quite a few OTF studios and SE is by far my favorite. The staff make a point to get to know every member, making the atmosphere very welcoming. The coaches are very accommodating and provide alternative exercises to meet the needs of every member in the studio. I’ve never been able to stick to a gym routine until OTF - I strongly recommend coming in and trying it out!

Now, I’m there 3-4 times per week without question.OTF addresses every single reason why I never consistently worked out previously.1) I have great ambitions for a morning workout when I go to bed at 10pm but my 6am self has other ideas and craves more sleep. Not being able to Late Cancel forces me to get up and go…and I never regret getting to class.2) I’m not smart enough to plan out a comprehensive workout. I show up and the great coaches give clear directions and help modify it to accommodate my abilities (or limits).3) I don’t like working out by myself. The community at OTFSE is amazing. From the coaches & staff, to the fellow clients, you are surrounded by good people who want to see you succeed. Made a few friends along the way.4) Am I even progressing? The workout challenges, heart rate monitors, and competitions give me goals to attack and personal bests to celebrate. It’s great to see how my body has gotten stronger and faster over time. And I love running faster than the person next to me.Come on and check it out. It’s worth it. And I personally recommend the weekday 7:15am class. They are the totes jelly.
