However, it is important to be aware of some of the challenges the facility has faced, as noted in customer reviews. Some members have mentioned that the equipment and overall facility can feel "outdated," with things like a few treadmills or televisions being out of order. While a staff is on hand, some have reported that they are not always as knowledgeable as one might hope, which could be a point of frustration. Additionally, communication with management and the process for canceling a membership have been cited as areas for improvement. These are important considerations for anyone evaluating the gym.

What is worth choosing about North Haven Health & Racquet? The answer depends heavily on what you're looking for. The club’s main appeal lies in its sheer size and the variety of sports and fitness options it provides. For a tennis or racquetball player, the access to multiple courts and tailored programming is a significant advantage over a standard gym. The family-friendly atmosphere and diverse offerings make it a strong candidate for those with children or who want a fitness solution for the entire household. It is a long-standing institution in the community with a clear focus on racquet sports and a wide range of physical activities.
However, it's also important to consider the feedback from some customers who have raised concerns. The club has been described as "overpriced for what they offer" and having an "outdated facility." The reports of poor communication with management and staff who are not fully knowledgeable are also points to consider. Ultimately, if your primary interest is in racquet sports and you value a long-established, family-oriented club with a broad selection of activities, this facility could be a good fit. But if a modern, spotless facility with seamless customer service is your top priority, you might want to look at other options. The value here is in the community feel and the extensive list of athletic pursuits under one roof, which for many, outweighs the reported shortcomings.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Facility is unorganized, staff didn’t know how to operate the ball machine & asked me (a first timer) how to use it? WOW. Then they change the structure so it’s for members only and it’s about $200/month for the tennis option? Highway robbery. Trumbull has more affordable tennis packages for all levels. It’s a bit far but the staff are friendly & helpful. This place is overpriced for what they offer.
August 12 · Mulanga KambaOutdated facility and hard to get in touch with management surrounding questions or concerns.During my last visit, a few treadmills were out of order, along with the televisions out of order. It got the job done for a while, but you soon learn the cost of your membership + fees just does not match up to the quality of this location.I called in to inquire on how to go about canceling membership and resolving any owed balance, and was referred to text and email the management team. I have yet to receive response since I reached out nearly 4 weeks ago.If you're looking for a modern, up-to-date, and welcoming facility, I suggest looking elsewhere.
May 17 · Gina MariaImpossible to contact management. The club still owes me money they charged me after my membership ended.
July 31 · Mike BSeems like a great facility, but the programs for kids are definitely a mixed bag. The beginner tennis lessons are really just games, not really teaching tennis. My daughter did the summer camp last year, and it was fine, but they doubled the price this year and it's definitely not worth it.
March 23 · Sean HallinanLike the hammer strength equipment. Like the fact that there's 2 floors to workout in .Friendly staff !
