★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I recently tried Majestic Fitness in Chicago and left feeling more confused than motivated. I paid for a one-month membership. When I arrived, the door was wide open, no staff in sight, and no clear instructions on how to get started. The equipment looked outdated, and the locker room had a musty smell. I expected a more professional experience for the price. Definitely not coming back.
May 07 · Autumn JohnsonHonestly it's a good gym if you're looking to stay away from anything crowded like PF and LA . It still gets crowded during rush hour (I feel like every gym deals with this ,private and chain ) . Owners have been doing their best to accommodate for everything . As mentioned on other reviews, its a work in progress gym so I am excited where this gym going forward. So far they have fulfilled the promises of introducing new gym equipment (6 and counting). The whole gym has been waiting for these saunas and we are excited to finally see them installed (at least I'm excited) lol.I would say do the 1 day pass or 2 week pass to check them out before fully committing.
March 26 · Bryan SandovalIt’s an okay gym. I had originally signed up because I wanted a closer gym than AF with 24/7 access. If you all you care for is the gym equipment then it’s the gym for you. I signed up before they opened with their promo. Grand opening (originally June 2024) kept getting delayed which was a disappointment but luckily I had not cancelled my AF gym membership so it wasn’t too much of a big deal. They are yet to be 24 hours big bummer for me as I work late nights and this was the main reason I had originally switched gym memberships. It’s a work in progress gym as of now. So if you’re looking for an established gym with a welcoming atmosphere then this is not the gym for you. Definitely recommend getting a day pass so you can experience it before signing up. 😊
March 17 · Patricia SanchezOk gym only pro is it isn’t crowded I did the one day pass. Confirmation gave no instructions. only the PIN number, so I couldn’t even get in until another member walked in, upon entering there was no welcome so if your new you get lost, the women who works here, didn’t even offer a tour she just stayed on the treadmill checking me in on her phone ? I had to ask where the women’s locker is bc she didn’t even say anything after checking me in she was most concern with telling me to next time download the app so I can get in,Equipment also don’t have side instructions they look a bit old and incomplete, some equipment seems to come from other gyms like the attachment parts. The sauna is new so that’s niceOther than that NOT a welcoming gym that looks to give new prospects a good experience by giving them a tour, & introducing themselves
April 14 · Diana HaroIt’s honestly not that bad if you just want to workout and leave, and it’s not crowded which is great, but you can tell the equipment is just really old and really used. People usually don’t clean equipment after they use it. The owner sends out emails, but never responds to emails or answers the phone. Signing up is a hassle for everyone because you can’t even get through the door, and everyone gets confused with the sign up process at first. The door has a phone number to call, but again, they NEVER answer. If someone working out is nice enough to open the door and help you, they’ll tell you how to sign up, but that should be an employees job, and they’re usually never around. The emails also say that you can’t let in non-members or they’ll charge you, but then there’s people who are confused in the lobby trying to get in and sign up. It’s annoying. Locker room is kinda gross looking too, but at least it’s kinda clean, even though you can tell they rarely clean the bathrooms.
