★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This gym is simply amazing! I had a chance to try this gym out and I loved it. The staff here is super friendly and gave me and my friend a tour and answered all our questions, Derek was super helpful, thank you! Every machine is new and clean, the free weight area is great too, a little crowded but if you locked in you can make it work! I’m moving to town soon and probably this will be my go to gym!
February 20 · Aleksey IgusevI ended up staying in Long Beach for a few days due to an expo schedule in LA. I really wanted to work out, so I went to Gold’s Gym, but I almost gave up because the one-day pass was too expensive. However, thanks to Walter, I was able to get a one-day pass at a very reasonable price and got to work out.Even though it was a short stay, that one workout made my time in Long Beach so much more satisfying. I’m truly grateful to Walter for creating such a wonderful memory.I know it’s not an easy thing to do, and I really appreciate the thoughtfulness Walter showed.I sincerely wanted to express my gratitude, so I’m leaving this comment here.
June 24 · Hyun ShinGold's Gym offers a clean and well-equipped environment, featuring all the machines you need for a solid workout. However, my experience with their 7-day trial pass was disappointing. They did not honor the promotional offer, which felt like false advertising. Instead of allowing me to enjoy the trial without pressure, I was immediately pushed to commit to a membership. While the facilities are great, the hassle of the sales approach overshadowed the positive aspects of the gym. If they could improve their transparency regarding trial memberships, it would enhance the overall experience.
July 01 · Jesse OchoaBiased opinion because it’s my home gym but compared to other Gold’s Gyms this one has to be my favorite. Only because it is really clean, the staff keeps all the machines in good condition, the staff itself is really welcoming, and everything is new. It is a two story gym and the free weights are on the bottom floor. If you have a heavy leg day, don't you worry lol, there’s an elevator you can take advantage of! There’s so much natural lighting during the day because of the open windows you can see through. It’s nearby the beach so if you want to go out for a run after you’re not so far away. There’s plenty of places you can also go eat afterwards since it’s located at the Pike! The only flaws I can think of is the parking because you only get 2hrs free with no extra 15 min grace period and it can be considered a smaller gym compared to Cerritos. During the busy times, the gym can be really packed and you might wait for machines. If you were one the few survivors from COVID times when only a few would still go to the gyms that were open, then waiting for a machine won’t face you lol. Anyways, overall it’s a great gym to go to :)!!
March 30 · America Lopez-HernandezThe facilities are nice but it’s way too crowded. When I signed up the staff told me it’s “empty” on the weekends. Every bench is always taken and has a line. Would suggest limiting membership going forward. I’d also be fine paying a bit more if it meant fewer people.Additionally, I also spend more than 2 hours at the gym so it would be nice to get parking for 2.5-3 hours.
