★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I'm staying in Brooklyn for a week from out of town and didn't want to miss a whole week of training with a Strongman meet coming up. This place has all the equipment you could ever want, and even some lighter stones, logs, and sandbags for us masters women. They also have a 15kg barbell. I love this gym and will definitely come back anytime I'm in Brooklyn. It's a real gem.
March 18 · Alicia W.Fantastic gym for serious weight training. 4 squat racks with platforms and 1 bench - the ratio says it all. Every piece of strongman equipment I can think of - Atlas Stones, Yokes, circus dumbells, Thomas dumbell, kegs, hussafel stones, farmers handles, reverse hyper, GHD, every specialty bar I know of etc. etc. The owner keeps a super clean and neat space - easy to workout in. Music is good too, and he even helped me out on some deadlift tips. I might move to Brooklyn just for this gym.
August 14 · Rich WBest gym I have Seen so far in New York! Every Strongman equipment one could imagine! Yoke, Atlasstones, many Logs, Husafellstone, Farmers, several Tires - anything. I’ll definitely come back. If you want a real gym, this is a real gym!!!
April 17 · Thomas HCool gym with a ton of equipment. Some were a bit older/well used. Hans the owner was also quite nice.
May 15 · Benjo BuensucesoThis gym and the owner, Hans Pirman, changed my life. I wanted to lift weights and get strong - he took me there and more.My starting numbers, January 2016:Body weight: 195 lbsSquat: 135 lbsBench: 110 lbsDeadlift: 135 lbsI showed up in the huge snowstorm in January, knowing I wanted to change my life. What I didn't expect was that I'd blow all my fitness goals out of the water and make a TON of friends doing it. Hans knows EVERYTHING - nutrition, strongman, bodybuilding, powerlifting, physical therapy, and anything in between. He quickly and accurately identified all my weaknesses, corrected them, and now I can't tell they ever existed. A year ago I had knee surgery, now I'm squatting hundreds of pounds. This gym changed everything for me - if you want to REALLY see results, this is the only place to go. I'll let the numbers speak:November 2016:Body weight: 265 lbsSquat: 350 lbsBench: 225 lbsDeadlift: 505 lbsEnough said!
