★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Just took my first class with Daniel and it was amazing. It’s a beautiful studio and he taught such a great class - so peaceful and positive. I’ll definitely be back to his classes! Highly recommend.
August 22 · Zoe SiegelI took my first class at Yoga Modo in the West Village last month, and I had such a great experience. To start, the studio is absolutely gorgeous and the locker rooms are pristine. The front desk attendee was so kind, giving me the run down of the class and really took the time to get to know me. She was so genuine, something I don't often feel going to yoga studios in NYC. My yoga instructor in class was equally just as great. The class was challenging, but not overwhelming. The flow of the class felt natural and intentional. I left class feeling energized and grounded. Modo Yoga has such a peaceful vibe—it’s bright and airy. The yoga studio has a gorgeous window that looks out onto the west village. Beautiful sunlight. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a high-quality yoga class in the city.
December 23 · KGI've been attending classes at Modo Yoga for two years now, and find the studio a lovely place to practice. The teachers are very experienced and patient, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, they create a space that makes everyone feel welcome.I never thought I would enjoy hot yoga, but I sure do now! It really warms me up from the inside and leaves me feeling detoxified and renewed. It would be hard for me to go back to regular classes after this warmth and comfort.I personally love the Hatha style class (Modo 60), but I have taken Yang Yin and the Vinyasa style (Modo Flow), and enjoyed those too.Hands down, the people here are the best! Modo Yoga has changed my life for the better!!
December 23 · Bruce KernerModo Yoga NYC is my favorite place to practice yoga. I have tried many other studios in New York and always find myself coming back. They pay close attention to all the details: the spaces are gorgeous with sunlight and plant life, classes start and end on time, amenities including showers with toiletries included. But in my opinion the teachers are what make the studios stand out - no matter what class you take the practice will be solid with interesting flows and good instruction. My favorite instructors have deepened my practice and truly made a lasting impact on my life. You can find cheaper studios, but in my opinion it is worth the extra expense to feel safe and taken care of during your practice. Thank you Modo!
October 07 · Jack WintersLove this studio!I usually go to the Williamsburg location, but went to this one for the first time recently. The locker rooms are nicer at this one, and the yoga rooms feel very New York. I like that the rooms here are smaller than Williamsburg too. Makes the class more intimate and instructors can focus on you more. The staff were really nice as well. Would come here more often if I lived in the city.
