I took my first class with Jennifer, who took a few minutes before we started to show me how to work the machines and checked on me throughout the class! I love how the classes are smaller, making the class feel more personal and easier ability to ask questions.

I had abdominal surgery about 4 years ago and due to some unfounded fear that I might damage the repair, I completely ignored my core during resistance training. However, my recent research indicated Pilates could be beneficial if done slowly with controlled movements using lower weights. This was exactly what I experienced during my first class. I can see how it will help not only strengthen my abdomen & back but will improve my posture!I'm so thankful a dear friend of mine recommended Function Pilates Tempe.
