What is Worth Choosing and Local Member Considerations
F45 Training Rockhill is undeniably worth choosing for the quality of its workout program and the excellence of its on-the-floor coaches. The 45-minute functional HIIT system is proven globally to deliver fast, effective results in both cardiovascular fitness and resistance strength. Local Missouri members consistently rave about the "awesome" and "motivating" energy of the trainers, highlighting the positive impact they have on the daily training experience. The workouts themselves are unique, fun, and highly effective for all fitness levels.
However, potential members in the St. Louis area must exercise a significant degree of caution and due diligence regarding membership policies and ownership relations. Public reviews, including serious and documented complaints, raise substantial concerns about the administrative and management practices at this specific franchise location. Multiple local users have reported extreme difficulty, rudeness, and refusal from the owner to process membership cancellations and refunds, even when following stated procedures or communicating issues while out of the country. These actions led to members being charged for months after attempting to cancel and being met with what they describe as "unprofessional" and "condescending" behavior when seeking resolution.
Therefore, while the core physical fitness product is excellent, any local St. Louis resident considering a membership at F45 Training Rockhill should secure a full, written copy of the cancellation policy upon sign-up, ensure they retain receipts and dated photographs of any cancellation forms submitted, and confirm all communications are documented. While the fantastic workouts and motivational coaches are a major draw, being fully informed about the administrative relationship is essential before committing to the membership required to participate. Members in the region have noted that other F45 locations, such as the one in Des Peres, have provided excellent administrative service, suggesting that the management concerns are specific to this Rockhill franchise, and not the F45 brand as a whole.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I really loved the Fit 45 workouts and the coaches were awesome — super motivating and great energy. Unfortunately, the owner Greg was a nightmare to deal with when I tried to cancel my membership. While I was out of the country, I emailed multiple times to cancel and just got an auto-reply saying I had to do it in person. Once I got back, I told a trainer in person and filled out a cancellation form (just a piece of paper with my name and date), but I kept getting charged for months after. I reached out to Greg several times and he claimed they never got my form and that my emails didn’t count. Luckily I had taken a photo of the form, but even then, he was rude, super condescending, and questioned why I was canceling. He also told me if I ever came back, I wouldn’t get the rate I had before — just really unprofessional all around.Thankfully, I found a different Fit 45 location (Des Peres) and the owners there have been amazing. I love the workouts, but I’ll never go back to this original location because of how poorly things were handled.
July 01 · Freya DukeI would look at any other F45 location besides this one. Cancelling your membership is impossible. Currently contacting a lawyer about this situation and the FTC rulings around memberships and cancellations. The owner was incredibly rude and refused to give me a refund after I was told by a trainer my membership was cancelled back in March. Told me I signed paperwork that I am almost positive I didn’t, as this new policy of “coming in to sign cancellation paperwork” was not always the policy. Last year, I was able to email them and have my membership frozen or cancelled. This year, no one responded to my emails or phone calls so I contacted a trainer who told me it was cancelled. When I was still charged for this month, instead of taking accountability for this miscommunication and refunding me my money, I was met with absolute arrogance and rudeness and basically told “sorry they gave you the wrong information but this is how every gym works”. Even on their website it says to contact the gym for cancellation, which is exactly what I did. No one has responded to my emails on demanding receipt of said signed paperwork either. I would definitely look around at any other F45 gym besides this one.
May 16 · M DI have been trying to cancel my membership since March 11th but keep getting charged (now May). The trainers are great but the owner is unresponsive and you will be unable to cancel your membership.
May 07 · Ellen WalkoweJoined when they were first opening. Did the free trial and then joined on a great offer where Greg mentioned you could cancel anytime without and extra month charge. I thought this was great because you never hear of this deal. I went to cancel and got charged two additional months after reaching out multiple times via email, text, and by phone. Great workouts, poor business owner.
October 21 · Brett StricharczukI have been to multiple of 45s in St. Louis and truly enjoy the work out. I’ve never had an issue canceling or adjusting my membership at any of the locations I’ve been to besides Rock Hill. I emailed the owner Greg in May to cancel my membership. He did not email back so I called him and talked to him on the phone. He hassled with me the entire time telling me why I shouldn’t cancel my membership and that it was a bad decision. Finally, he said he would do it but I would be charged one more month because they have a 30 day cancel. I used to work at a gym, so I totally understand the 30 day cancel. After I got off the phone with Greg I emailed him recapping our conversation acknowledging that I knew I would be charged one more time in June which would give me all the way till July to continue to use my membership.. I asked Greg to respond back because multiple of the people I was going to this gym With continued to be charged well past their 30 day cancel and I did not want that to happen to me. He did not email me back and has not answered any of my calls. All of us have had to block our credit cards from being charged from this location due to him refusing to cancel memberships. It’s truly sad because the coaches there are amazing but due to the owner I could never step foot in that location again.
