Equinox HQ - Hudson Yards Introduce
In the landscape of New York City's fitness scene, Equinox Hudson Yards stands as a monument to luxury and high-performance living. This is not just a gym; it is a meticulously designed destination that promises an elevated fitness experience. Located within the Hudson Yards development, the facility is a flagship for the brand, offering an unparalleled array of amenities and services that cater to those who view fitness as an integral part of a sophisticated lifestyle. While many gyms focus solely on equipment, Equinox Hudson Yards offers a holistic approach that includes state-of-the-art facilities, expert coaching, and a social environment designed for connection and relaxation.
The brand has built a reputation for its premium offerings and exclusive atmosphere, and the Hudson Yards location is a prime example of this. The gym is an expression of luxury, from the photogenic pool and rooftop deck to the elevated locker rooms. It is designed to be a sanctuary from the city's chaos, where members can both push their physical limits and find a space for recovery and rejuvenation. The sheer scale and thoughtful design of the space, which spans two floors and includes a 15,000-square-foot pool and sundeck, set it apart.
However, the experience is a subject of passionate discussion among members. While the amenities are universally lauded, the gym's popularity can lead to overcrowding on the main training floor during peak hours. This has led some to note the irony of paying a premium for a gym where queues for machines and showers can form. On the other hand, spaces like the pool are often consistently quiet, offering a peaceful retreat. This mixed experience highlights that a membership here is an investment in a certain lifestyle, one that prioritizes luxury and atmosphere as much as it does a workout.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Sure, you get fancy changing rooms and a photogenic pool, but the locker room and training floor at this Equinox is just so overcrowded all the time. It costs too much to have queues for machines and showers even in the middle of a workday. On the other hand, the pools are consistently quiet. Even when the rest of the facility was packed, there was no problem getting a swim lane to myself.
October 01 · Graham BarryBunch of crooks your a gym that doesn't want to refund membership greed i am contacting attorney Gerald office i assure you I will get my money corporate greed
June 03 · Roman LukasiewiczI tried enrolling with Equinox for the Amex Platinum benefit via platinum.equinox.com. Not only did Equinox refuse to provide proof of my enrollment after I followed the enrollment steps outlined on the Amex Platinum website (I literally directly followed the link from within my Amex account), but Equinox's customer service was beyond unhelpful in "re-enrolling" me in the benefit (since they claimed I hadn't previously enrolled). They kept insisting I pay for some annual Equinox+ membership, which I know is not required to simply enroll for the Amex Platinum benefit. I found this to be very shady, and definitely the poorest customer service I've experienced either with any gym or any "premium"/"concierge" company.
December 19 · N JThis corporation mixes politics with business, against its own members. It's gross. Most of my friends in NYC have already dropped their memberships, and I won't set foot in one again. Nice gyms, but women cannot be assured safety in these establishments.
March 01 · Ryan MalloryStill waiting for my refund as well I cancelled in the middle of March after being a member for more than 10 years so I had no contract, I am still waiting for my partial month refund. They subsequently charged my card in June when they reopened even though I had cancelled in March. I was promised a refund for the past several weeks and have not gotten it. On Tuesday the local club in Darien CT contacted corporate headquarter and said my refund would be credited back on Tuesday. They did not dispute that I was due approx $200. I have gotten nothing.I called today and the essentially the local club refused to help and said they could not get through to the corporate headquarters to ask what happened. They told me I would have to wait weeks to months for my refund and I should be patient. Are they going to declare bankruptcy and keep all our monies?
