When considering a fitness center in the Syracuse, New York, area, it is important to weigh both the services offered and the overall member experience. Elevate Fitness Dewitt's comprehensive amenities, such as the swimming pool, sauna, and tennis court, are significant attractions. These features make it a versatile place for a variety of activities, from a traditional weightlifting session to a swim or a game of tennis. This all-in-one approach can be a major convenience for those who want to participate in different forms of exercise without joining multiple facilities.
The gym's commitment to inclusivity is also a compelling reason to choose it. The presence of gender-neutral restrooms and an LGBTQ+ friendly environment ensures that it is a safe and welcoming space for a diverse crowd. For many, finding a place where they feel completely comfortable is a priority, and Elevate Fitness appears to be making a concerted effort to provide that.
However, the worthiness of choosing Elevate Fitness ultimately depends on an individual's priorities. The information suggests that while the facilities themselves are robust and appealing, there may be challenges with customer service and policy transparency. For someone who values a wide range of amenities and is willing to navigate potential administrative issues, the gym's offerings may outweigh the drawbacks. For others who prioritize flawless customer service and clear communication above all else, the experience may be less than ideal. The best approach for a potential member would be to take advantage of a day pass to experience the facility and staff firsthand, allowing them to make an informed decision based on their personal needs and comfort level.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have been a member here for a little over 6 months now and I have never experienced a more incompetent and unprofessional staff in my life. They have no clue what their pricing is, they charge $55 for a pickleball membership and then tell you it’s 5am-9am which is insane. That or they charge $45 for an hour of court time, depending on who you ask it’s $20. The point being, that no one ever knows what the heck is going on. I was eventually able to find more concrete answers online but I shouldn’t have to. No one ever has any answers, if you ask questions they treat you like your a total inconvenience. It truly has potential to be a good gym but the staff and policy is so bad I can’t justify giving my money to a gym that treats its members this way. I spend a lot of time in the gym so its important to me to find a place that values its members, they have done a terrible job with customer retention from the looks of this review page. Also the showers and bathrooms are always gross. I asked if I could speak to a manager about these issues and was told I can’t talk to anyone. Literally stay away at all costs.
October 11 · Collin NixonOverall wonderful experience. Went for a day pass without any issues. Very friendly staff. Slightly worrisome that when i got there therr was a lady who was there twice because she left something there to get fixed and they had misplaced it for an entire weekend without any concern of trying to find it. But overall great size gym. Two different entrances for members. Pool didnt seem too busy in the morning.
June 10 · Orla FarmerExcellent facility with plenty things to offer, amazing trainers, and great community! Great energy and knowledge from the trainers and are eager to help and take their time with you. The trainers also understand what you are striving for and they will get you there and further, while having fun. The are plenty of classes to choose from ranging from spin, yoga, barre, Zumba, Insanity, and more! Bootcamp classes are high energy, intense, and fun for every level of fitness. Highly recommend!
February 17 · Dennis FernandoThe trainer no-showed and the head trainer didn’t want to train me. So I just went home. Wasn’t compensated or given an extra session. The place is also way too hot in summer. And they took out the steam room and no longer use the hot tub?! Pass
May 29 · Ilana EpsteinLong lost of reasons why it's 1 star. Could be 5 stars yet customer service is 0Edit: wish this could be 0 stars.EDIT PT2: cost way too much $$ for stuff to constantly be broken and to take forever to get fixed. THEY DONT LISTEN TO COMPLAINTS.Have employees of the gym talking on speaker phone in the recovery center before 6am... Ridiculous can't even relax in the morning with an extra perk you pay for. Mark get it together.
