★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1In this studio, you are seen. Pilates is taught to your body and taught so your body can get stronger and more flexible. The teachers are incredible, and each brings their expertise to create an experience of healthy growth and development…..even for those of us aging.
September 15 · Ellen Punyon2/15/2024: Don’t let the small number of reviews fool you. Atlas is an amazing place to learn Pilates. I’ve always had a posture problem (which led to other physical challenges), and learning Pilates has taught me how to gradually retrain my muscles, prevent new injuries, and use parts of the body I didn’t know how to move before. I also run long distances and weight-lift in addition to Pilates, and Pilates has helped me decompress and stretch properly so I can meet my other fitness goals without getting injured while strengthening my core! The instructors here are amazing, and I feel that they truly care about your health. Besides the health benefits, I love going to the studio because I feel both zen and energetic. I highly highly recommend Atlas!-------------My instructor (Ray) is very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and easy going. He catches and pays very close attention to all the fine details. I've attended a couple of classes so far, and I plan on continuing. The 1:1 class has been great. I'd been looking for traditional Pilates that involves equipment, and this place is it. I highly recommend this place!
February 15 · June ParkVery bad and disappointed experience. I booked a private with Lori yesterday and they proposed doing it today which I accepted. I arrived 10minutes late today as I didn’t find a spot to park (downtown!). The class went very well. But, 10 minutes before the end of the private class, Lori stopped because she had a meeting on Zoom. I paid the highest price for this class as Lori has a experience in Pilates. I also shared my goals about my health and I was expected a plan for the futures classes and recommendations but… nothing. So, I arrived 10 minutes later, I had to spend 5 minutes to file document, and the class ended 10 minutes before the hour. I bought $138 an 1 hour private class for doing 35minutes of real class. What a shame! That’s not professional to suggest an hour for a class if you know that you have to end it sooner.
February 24 · Abby BI've been a client of Atlas since Teresa opened her doors, and have worked with Teresa and Danielle for over 25 years (!) Atlas Pilates is without question, an exceptionally knowledgable, classic Pilates studio: expert, insightful, supportive, kind. Ardent recommendation for Atlas.
February 06 · Patricia SmithExcellent teaching and very personalized workouts. Atlas studio is the best!
