★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1YogaSix Scott’s Addition has such a different vibe compared to other studios I’ve visited around Richmond. Some places can feel a little stiff or “too perfect” — like you’re walking into a space that’s more about image than connection. This studio is the opposite. From the moment you step inside, the décor, the energy, and the people make it feel like home.I love all of the teachers here, so much I decided to teach here too. Each one brings their own unique personality and style, but the common thread is how genuinely supportive and welcoming they are. It’s not just about getting a workout in — it’s about community. We celebrate each other’s progress, encourage each other on the tough days, and laugh together more than you’d expect in a yoga class together students and teachers. There’s something really refreshing about finding a space where you don’t have to put on a front — you can show up exactly as you are and still feel seen, encouraged, and uplifted. YogaSix Scott’s Addition has become that kind of sanctuary for me, and I’m so grateful for it.
August 19 · Crystal ShahNot the best first experience; front desk girl was sweet, but felt lost and not super welcomed by instructor. The class was definitely catered toward people who were experienced, and this includes just general flow of the class (what items to grab, where to return items at end of class, wiping equipment, etc). The expectation for the class was that you should already know what to do.
August 19 · Katherine LangI’ll admit—I was and have always been skeptical about yoga. It just never seemed like my thing. But thanks to Christina at Yoga Six, I decided to give it a try, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Not only did I experience the physical benefits—improved flexibility, strength, and overall fitness—but I also gained a new appreciation for the mental clarity and relaxation that yoga brings. It’s been a game-changer, and I owe it all to Christina’s encouragement. If you’re on the fence about yoga, trust me—go talk to Christina. She has a way of making yoga approachable, challenging, and incredibly rewarding. Yoga Six is lucky to have her, and so are the rest of us who get to learn from her!
February 25 · Carlos ValladaresYogasix is addictive! I started randomly through classpass and I somehow keep going back even though I almost passed out my first class??(Come hydrated! Please!! It👏🏾 Is 👏🏾H.O.T.👏🏾). The instructors are very kind and very holistic-minded which makes a huge difference when you're being pushed in the workout classes. Usually, intense classes make me feel really self conscious when I hit my limit and the vibe here is the opposite - I have somehow been practicing my self-compassion muscle while struggling through the classes here?? Now I've burned through my classpass credits, the classes are no longer discounted and I'm considering a standalone membership...ugh 😤😫 in this economy?!! I guess so. I've been really enjoying how I feel after each class lol 😅.Now, is this "real" Yoga? Probably not. They feel more like a Yogi's favorite workout class to sweat it out. The instructors do feel like real yogis though, they remind you to find your breath, to listen to your body, they invite you into full and/or meditative rest at the end. (I only had one so-so instructor so far and I think she's new/in training). So, yah give it a try! your body and the inner critic in your brain will probably thank you. Your wallet will probably curse you out 🫠
June 11 · Gaelle EmmanuelleI absolutely love this studio! The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and make every class feel welcoming and inclusive. The space is clean, calming, and beautifully designed, which enhances the overall experience. Each session leaves me feeling rejuvenated, both physically and mentally. This studio has become my sanctuary, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to start or deepen their yoga practice!
