The classes are taught by experienced instructors, many of whom are mentoring students from the Spirit House Yoga Teacher Training Program, ensuring high-quality and informed instruction. The class offerings often include:
- Power Yoga: A dynamic practice inspired by the Baptiste Yoga Methodology, focused on building strength, flexibility, and endurance through an intentional flow of simple poses.
- Power Yoga + Heat: A variation practiced in a mildly heated studio (typically 90-95 degrees) with the intention of creating comfortable challenge, encouraging students to build muscular memory that discomfort is tolerable, and disrupting the drift of daily life.
- Restorative Yoga: A powerful, gentle practice that cultivates conscious relaxation using long-held, supported resting poses with props like bolsters and blankets to release unnecessary tension in the body and mind.
- Yin Yoga: A slow-paced and meditative class targeting deep connective tissues, breath patterns, and the mind, welcoming to all levels.
- Gentle Yoga: Highly accessible classes perfect for beginners or anyone seeking a softer approach to movement and stretching.
- Advanced Power + Heat: A class designed for students ready to deepen their power yoga practice with modifications for more advanced poses and pillars of the practice.
- Qigong Class: A unique offering of mindful movement, breathwork, and energy cultivation, known to help clients feel relaxed and rejuvenated, adding a layer of holistic wellness beyond traditional yoga.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Yoga Lab is truly a special place. I started going to the Monday night class maybe 6 months ago and it's now my favorite way to start my week. The classes are thoughtful and thorough. They are also accessible for all levels. I never feel like I am falling behind or like I am discouraged, I also never feel like I am breezing through class without a challenge. I consistently feel strong and engaged with the practice. I feel truly connected to my body in these classes. Martha always takes the time to let us sit in the moment, in the pose, in the stretch and encourages us to observe how our bodies feel not only in the present but how they change over the course of an hour. Before coming here I hadn't been to an in-person class in maybe 10+ years and was nervous about being the "new person". My fears were quickly quashed as I immediately felt welcomed to the environment. Expect no pretension or posturing, only genuine connection with yourself in both body and spirit. Each and every Monday when I leave class I feel renewed and at peace, ready to take on the rest of my week.
November 19 · Bailey StringerReally nice space. Not very crowded. Instructors are really nice. Great yoga place in the plaza very close to where I live so I get to walk there. I did a regular yoga class on Saturday and Qigong class on Sunday. Felt relaxed and rejuvenated
July 17 · Trami ThiI was impressed by the quality of instruction! I went on a Tuesday and the class wasn't busy so the instructor was able to give each of us personalized attention to help correct our posture and teach us new poses. I really liked that the instruction was more Kinesiology based, because even though I'm a casual yoga participant I had never learned the proper way to align my body and set up the poses correctly. I HIGHLY RECOMEND GOING HERE!
January 15 · LaurenMy favorite yoga studio in a great location with fun instructors. I always go to Maddye's class Thursday at 7:30pm!
December 13 · Matt LaVoieYoga lab is a fun, clean, friendly studio. Great for beginners or anyone who enjoys yoga!I have been going here on and off for several years. This studio allows students in teacher training and new to teaching to teach. They also offer yoga at half the price most all studios just $6 and even have a pay it forward program if someone wants to go but can’t afford it.It’s in the heart of the plaza district so after yoga you can enjoy some art, food, and shopping 😊
