Xtreme Gymnastics Introduce
For parents in the Scottsdale, Arizona area, finding a preschool or program for young children that balances physical activity with early education can be a challenge. Xtreme Gymnastics offers a unique solution, providing a dynamic and engaging environment where children can not only burn off energy but also develop crucial life skills. This article is designed to give local parents a clear overview of the preschool programs at Xtreme Gymnastics, highlighting how their approach to "interactive tumbling" and structured play can be a perfect fit for a child's early developmental years. We'll explore the facility's commitment to safety, professional instruction, and the real-life benefits that its programs offer to the youngest members of the community.
The experience at Xtreme Gymnastics for preschoolers is often praised for its ability to teach discipline and social etiquette in a fun and engaging way. One parent enthusiastically described the interactive tumbling class as the "perfect way to teach about gym manners and etiquette" for their 2.5-year-old. They also loved the free gym time afterward, which was "perfect for wearing her out!" The professional instructors are a major highlight, credited with teaching "real life and balance skills." This feedback underscores a key benefit of the program: children learn more than just physical movements; they also learn how to follow directions, take turns, and interact respectfully with others. This blend of physical and social development is a cornerstone of the Xtreme Gymnastics philosophy for its youngest participants.
However, it is important for parents to understand that, as with any program for young children, individual experiences can vary. While many parents appreciate the structure and focus, others may find the environment challenging for children who are still learning to manage their social skills. A review from a parent of a three-year-old highlights a difficult camp experience, where their child was asked to be picked up for being "more hands-on." This review points to the need for parents to assess if the program's structure is a good match for their child's unique temperament and developmental stage, especially for those who are "developing social skills." This kind of feedback provides a valuable perspective for parents making a decision, encouraging them to consider the specific needs of their child when choosing a program.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great facility for my 2.5-year-old. The interactive tumbling class is the perfect way to teach about gym manners and etiquette. The free gym after is perfect for wearing her out! Professional instructors teaching real life and balance skills A+++
July 08 · Jamie Local GuideThis was the worst camp I have ever sent my children to. I was called three times in one week to come pick up my three-year-old because they “hit” another kid. If you are hosting three-year-olds, and you don’t know how to handle kids who made be more hands-on, hit, or developing social skills than they definitely should not have a program for three-year-olds. Even though I paid for a full day, they called for me to come pick them up immediately not caring whether or not I was at work or anything. This place needs to learn how to deal with children if they are going to be having a camp for children. Never sending my kids here again.!
June 12 · James CarreraAbsolutely the worst! I enrolled my son here for both a class and a summer camp. Initially when dealing with the front desk they were rude and teachers never greeted my child. The gym smells terrible and doesn’t seem clean. The secretary at the front needs customer service training. She is absolutely rude and shouldn’t work around children. I received a call that they were having issues with my son. I immediately came to pick him up and took him home for the day. My son advised the teachers were mean and yelling. I of course addressed his behavior and advised if he wasn’t listening etc. we went back a few other times because my son liked the ninja class specially. Again front desk was teachers were rude. My son likes the equipment etc so I relented. Months went by and I attempted to enroll him for a summer class again because my son said he wanted to try it again. I received a notification email that he was denied. No phone call or anything when I called same lady was rude and said he was not welcomed back because of issues. I said that is odd because he has been back several times without issues. I wouldn’t waste your time with this place ! I count it as a blessing she didn’t want my son there I would never want to take him somewhere he isn’t wanted. Spend your money at BEST camp! Great teachers and never had an issue !
July 16 · Christina ManriquezMy daughter is 7 and joined team at this gym earlier this year. The coaches and staff have been excellent! They are very attentive, communicative and really create a family feel, which is great considering the amount of time my daughter spends at practice weekly. You won’t go wrong with this gym.
August 18 · Melissa HildebrandMy daughter has been at this gym since 2006. We left for one year and came right back. I would recommend this gym for both recreational and competitive gymnastics. The coaches really care about the gymnasts rather than just about making money and winning the most trophies. They incorporate the Center for Athletic Performance's staff to insure that the gymnasts avoid injury. They make sure that the gymnasts are really ready prior to moving them to the next level.
