Choosing UFC GYM Brea is about investing in a fitness experience that is truly different and exceptionally comprehensive. For residents of California, particularly in the Brea area, this gym offers a unique value proposition that goes beyond a typical fitness center. What makes it a standout choice is the unparalleled integration of traditional gym facilities with professional-level martial arts training. This hybrid model allows members to customize their fitness journey, whether they want to focus on classic strength and cardio, or dive into the dynamic and empowering world of boxing, kickboxing, and jiu-jitsu. The variety of classes is a significant draw, providing endless opportunities to learn new skills, challenge the body in different ways, and stay motivated. Beyond the physical training, UFC GYM's commitment to a holistic approach, which includes youth programs and nutrition consulting, shows that they are invested in the entire well-being of their members and their families. This makes it a central hub for health and wellness, rather than just a place for a workout. The facility itself is modern, well-equipped, and designed to support a wide range of activities. Furthermore, the commitment to accessibility, with wheelchair-friendly features, ensures that the gym is a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone in the community. However, it's important for prospective members to be diligent about understanding the membership contract. As some customer reviews have pointed out, the process for cancellation can be complex. It is highly recommended that you carefully read all terms and conditions of any agreement before signing and ask for a written copy of all verbal promises. While this is a common issue in the fitness industry, being aware of it can prevent future frustrations. Despite these contractual concerns, the core product—the training, facilities, and class variety—remains a powerful and attractive offering. For those who are ready to "Train Different" and are seeking a high-energy, community-focused, and well-rounded fitness program, UFC GYM Brea offers a powerful and effective path to achieving your goals.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My husband and I both bought memberships in full. Over $2,000. Decided to do a two month trial for my son and paid two months at the time of the sign up. Made it very clear to sales guy what I was doing and confirmed the end date of the two months. I did this to make sure my son enjoyed the youth classes prior to purchasing a year in full. He didn't like it. The two months was to end in May. May ended and all of a sudden I have another $300 of charges for my son on my card. Called to question the charges and they said the sales guy put us on a month to month. NOT WHAT WAS AGREED ON. Not one person in that gym - including the sales manager and operations manager has any business sense and refused to refund the additional charges. They hide behind their corporate curtain and offer nothing but "sorry". After my membership is up - I'm out. BE CAREFUL OF TRUSTING THESE PEOPLE.
June 12 · Momma HilgyI’ve never wrote any reviews on Google, but I have to write one this time.I signed up for a month to month membership in January and wanted to quit in April for personal reasons.I paid for the first and last month so the fee was $89x2 and a $59 annual fee.I gave notice on April 29, but they have me paying through July 13 even though I paid the last month’s bill on my first month. I have to pay 1 more month on the top of that because I canceled less than 21 days before the billing date. The UFC gym is nice until you want to quit. Then they suck every dime they can out of you on the way out. It’s so predatory. If I give 30 days notices on 4/29, my last day should be 5/29, not 7/13. And my last month’s payment that I paid when I signed up should cover from last month’s payments which is 5/14-5/29. But they don’t follow their own rules in the contract. So remember, when you quit, you are paying at least 2+ months. The last month payment you made on your first month doesn’t cover the last month.
April 30 · Jinah KangI tried this gym recently and had a pretty disappointing experience. I had left my ID at the front desk, and when I needed to leave, I waited and even had someone notify the staff for me, but was ignored. When I retrieved my own ID (which I had permission to leave), one of the managers confronted me in a rude and condescending tone in front of others. I came in with good intentions, was respectful, and didn’t deserve to be spoken to like that. Not a great first impression. Will not be getting a membership.
July 12 · Matt StackleI"ve come on here to say that this morning as I was exercising at 7:30 am to prevent coming in during their peak times in the evening. I specifically came in to train glutes and shoulders this morning. As I was training doing lunges on the Smith machine, their cleaning guy started mopping in between my sets specifically on and around the Smith machine. He made the area very wet and dangerous, additionally the chemicals he used for cleaning caused me to become very, very sick. I had a severe allergic, anaphylactic reaction to the chemicals he was using. I had severe difficulty breathing, my eyes started watering, I felt as if I was going to pass out, truly. I became nauseous also. I literally went and gagged over the trash can. I kindly asked him to please not mop in that area as the smell was quite strong. He ignored me and went back and mopped the Smith machine area, specifically under the bar, where I was exercising another time. He never apologized or seemed phased that I was being made sick by the smell of the cleaning chemicals. I had to stop my workout due to having been made so sick. I normally train for an hour and half, sometimes 2 hours. I was there only 30 minutes due to this incident that caused me to have to cut my workout short, soon after this violent reaction to these cleaning chemicals .I still couldn't breathe when I got home, as I still felt dizzy and extremely sick. I went to Urgent Care due to this reaction to these chemicals. I did report this incident to Kareem, the manager on staff at the time. He was very apologetic, but when I called him after I got home and told him I was going to Urgent Care due to the chemical smell allergic reaction, he stated that the chemicals were fine to use while people are exercising. I pray and hope that this cleaning guy is scheduled to clean during graveyard hours so that no other members are made sick as I was. This cleaning guy was very non-apologetic and seemed to not care that he made me sick when I brought it to his attention.I have been exercising for over 45 years and am a former 7xs fitness and bodybuilding champion. I also have my own business-Janina's Fitness in Brea. I joined UFC due to the variety of equipment and the alleged 24- hour access. It is not truly 24 hour access as it closes at 10 pm Friday night and 8 pm on Saturday and Sunday, so it's false advertising there. I also used to manage a true 24-hour access bodybuilding gym in south Orange county for 2 years. So, I'm quite familiar with gym operations and all that. I truly hope that the situation with the cleaning guy is resolved immediately, because if I am made sick again I don't want to have to resort to other measures to rectify this matter.Signing a liability upon joining a gym does not include suffering allergic, anaphylactic reactions to their cleaning crew specifically cleaning where a member is exercising, exposing them to dangerous chemicals.
August 07 · Janina MoeIt is a really nice gym and the employees are super nice but the music is god awful and obnoxiously loud, it’s bad enough to make me cancel the membership completely. Also, there’s nowhere to stretch or mats to stretch on. Needs work for sure, but I do love the equipment!
