As a volunteer and a barista I take a great pleasure in doing this work. Why am I doing it?After I moved to NYC I was looking for connecting with people and improving my English. I have known about this studio already, so I decided to give it a try. I volunteer once a week for a couple of hours. In exchange Three Jewels gives me many perks such as class passes, discounts, and a blast of a time with fellow volunteers! After a couple of months there I felt more confident and less shy talking to people, my language and communication skills improved greatly. And I connected with some people. This is a non-profit yoga studio and people can request a free membership if they can’t pay for classes or lectures. Some donate money, others donate their time. I hope to serve you a drink or check you in for a class. Cheers! - Maryna Verant
