The Micheli Center for Sports Injury Prevention Reviews
Love this place! My son is a runner and their gait analysis is paramount to helping prevent and heal injuries. Highly recommended!
May 30 · Anita SAfter 5 years of pain, I went to The Micheli Center at the suggestion of my orthopedic surgeon. Not only was I finally diagnosed correctly, but after 1 session and doing the exercises recommended, I saw an improvement very shortly. Genna not only told me what was wrong, but explained in detail why (which helped immensely). I have finally found a true professional that is extremely knowledgeable.
February 23 · Linda FlahiveDO NOT GO HERE FOR PHYSICAL THERAPY. Billing goes through Boston Children's Hospital at an in-network rate of >$1000 per visit and >$2000 per eval. Save your money and time and go elsewhere.*Update to acknowledge the owner’s response:*Thank you for your reply. For what it’s worth, I spoke with Boston Children’s Hospital’s billing office extensively prior to submitting this review. As such, my goals in sharing this information are to:1. Provide transparency for others seeking medical care so that they can make informed decisions on where to receive treatment. In evaluating PT clinics, there was no way for me (or another patient) to know, prior to receiving a bill, that the Micheli Center charges 3-5+ times the rates of comparable providers. This is a substantial amount of financial liability and is something that I imagine others will want to factor into their decision making.2. Increase visibility of this issue such that maybe the Micheli Center’s administrative staff may acknowledge this and look into addressing these excessive rates.
June 16 · DanThis is an amazing place. I have had an incredible experience totally solving a runner’s knee (patella femoral) problem that had plagued me for a year. Sara is an excellent trainor who quickly figured out the issue (gait and strength imbalance) and came up with a great PT plan that worked like magic. Staff is super nice, facility is beautiful and covid protocols were great. If you have a running injury book an appointment and you will not regret it.
February 11 · Andrew AI would not recommend going here for an ultrasound. On 2 separate occasions we waited in excess of an hour to be seen. They have no consideration for other peoples time. Not only that, they said they couldn’t do the treatment this time due to just having the booster. Maybe ask that when the appointment is being made or check a few days before. Awful experience
