Services Offered
The Handle Bar HEAT specializes in classes that incorporate the unique benefits of infrared heat. This approach elevates traditional workouts by promoting increased circulation, detoxification, and muscle relaxation. The core services offered include:
Sculpt (Infrared Heat): This class combines strength training exercises with high-intensity movements in a heated environment. The infrared heat intensifies the workout, leading to increased calorie burn and deeper muscular engagement. It’s a dynamic and challenging class designed to tone and sculpt the body. The instructors are highly praised for their varied styles, ensuring a new and engaging workout every time you attend, which makes it a favorite among members.
Yoga (Infrared Heat): The studio offers various yoga classes, including the "Power Flow Yoga" mentioned in a customer review. Practicing yoga in an infrared-heated room allows for deeper stretches, improved flexibility, and enhanced detoxification. The heat also helps to warm up the muscles, reducing the risk of injury. These classes provide a perfect blend of physical challenge and mental relaxation, making them a great addition to any wellness routine.
Pilates (Infrared Heat): Another key offering is Pilates classes conducted under infrared heat. Pilates focuses on core strength, stability, and control. The addition of heat enhances the benefits of these exercises, helping to improve flexibility and achieve a more profound mind-body connection. This service caters to individuals looking for a low-impact yet highly effective workout.
Each of these services is designed to be a complete wellness experience, not just a workout. The specialized nature of the classes ensures that members are getting a unique and highly beneficial training session every time they visit.
Features and Highlights
The Handle Bar HEAT stands out not only for its services but also for its welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful amenities.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Infrared sculpt at HB is my favorite workout. I love the Charlestown and North End locations. Really impressed with my first class from Kristen S! Go to instructors are Paige, Ellie, Heather and now Kristen. Most instructors are fantastic- it just depends on whose style and workouts you prefer as they differ.
June 20 · Christine CarrollI started going to Handle Bar for cycling workouts, but recently tried their Infrared Heat Power Flow Yoga classes to my weekly routine and it has been an absolute blast! The instructors and team members are so welcoming. Parking is free (for the first three hours) in the parking garage next door, so it is easy-in and easy-out! Would recommend for sure!
April 25 · George KillianI came to handle bar because I needed to find a workout to actually break a sweat and this place does the trick! The girls that teach are all great! The classes go by so fast! You feel soooo good at the end of class! And its always super clean! Definitely recommend if you like hot yoga/pilates type classes!
March 28 · Paulina RuedaParis had such a welcoming and positive presence from the start of class all the way to the end. Loved this class as it felt like moves were well spread out and we were spending so much time on our wrists . Sounds weird I know but the classes that are wrist heavy really bother an old injury of mine so I loved this one. Just the right amount
June 27 · Caitlin ShanleyI took my first class today and will be back. The studio got super hot which is not always the case with heated classes. The teachers instructor, Maddy, was very informative and I was able to understand all of the movement especially being my first time. I will be back!
