★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This gym offers a daily pass for $15 USD to visitors, providing access to all machines and dumbbells needed. While the machines are a bit outdated, they are well-maintained. However, it’s essential to bring your own lock for the lockers. The showers and lockers are basic and could be cleaner. The fan in the lockers is dusty and doesn’t blow any air, and hairdryers are not provided. If you forget your towel, you can ask for one at the counter.
June 13 · Cedric AMSELLEMI was visiting Norfolk from out of town and came across this gym while searching for alternatives from my hotel fitness center. This gym is in a prime location, very walkable from most hotels downtown. This gym is MUCH bigger than it looks. It spans across two floors with multiple rooms of equipment. I really appreciated the amount of available equipment and space, especially giving the downtown location. The equipment itself is fairly well maintained, with a few machines that may need repairs, but alternatives are available.Overall, a great experience while visiting and would definitely recommend to anyone else visiting downtown Norfolk.
August 26 · Logan BrayHave been going to this gym since before the renovations, great new equipment, clean. My friend I was there with had a very unpleasant interaction with the staff, she had shouted for everyone who parked their car in the back parking lot to move their cars. When my friend went to ask why, she gave a snappy response with no explanation when my friend was solely asking if there were going to be any hazards when he was going to move his car. As soon as he exited to do so, the staff member caused a scene loudly to the other patrons in the gym making remarks towards my friend. Very uncomfortable experience, a simple explanation like “we ask to ensure your safety” would have sufficed when he asked what hazards he should be aware of, not creating a scene and making remarks at his expense loudly.
September 10 · Isabella DominguezPretty good gym with a good mix of equipment. It seems a bit more run down that I expected. And yea, I understand there is an appeal to “run down” gyms, but at least try to keep it a bit more organized. It felt like equipment was just put anywhere. Also, the front desk staff was kinda unfriendly when I came in to buy a day pass.
July 05 · Nicholas ScaliceVisiting downtown on a day pass and want to get in a GREAT workout with arsenal machines and free weights going to up to 200 lbs? THIS IS THE PLACE. Gym legends and newbies- you can find your spot here. Simply the best.
