The workout itself is a draw, as it's a departure from traditional gym routines and offers a focused, efficient use of your time.
However, it's important for potential clients to be aware of the operational aspects and how they might affect their experience. Some customer reviews have pointed to challenges with customer service and booking, particularly for those with limited scheduling flexibility. The studio operates on an appointment-recommended basis, and popular class times, especially early mornings, can fill up quickly. A customer noted that they found it challenging to secure spots during a trial period, which might be a consideration for those who cannot be flexible with their workout times. It has been mentioned that members often have priority booking, which can make it easier for them to secure desired slots. The customer service experience has also been a point of contention for some, with reports of slow responses and difficulty resolving membership issues, such as freezing or restoring classes. While these are common challenges for any popular boutique fitness studio, they are worth noting to manage expectations.
Despite these potential logistical hurdles, the core value of lies in its workout. If you are someone who thrives on a challenging, structured, and goal-oriented fitness routine, and you can navigate the booking system, then Williamsburg could be an excellent fit for your fitness journey. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is regarding overall solidcore customer service. The coaches at this location are great.I’m very upset and I’m receiving horrible customer service. When I initially requested a freeze on 3/3 ( I had two classes left at the time) I submitted a note from doctor.-I was granted a two week freeze despite the note which clearly lists I can’t continue with activity at this timesThen I’m told I have to re submit which I did days ago (even though it was the same process) and haven’t received any response. I called and begged my local location to extend my four classes as I had already lost 2 the month prior. Which I requested since I had to wait for. Response that they be restored. I’m joe owed 6 classes because as of today my classes are all gone. This is not right we pay quite a bit of money to maintain these memberships and the customer service is not up to par at all. Why should the customer have to continually call or email to get a response or a simple freeze. This is ridiculous.**UpdateTwo weeks later from this review and absolutely no resolve. They closed a ticket after I didn’t respond in 3 days (did not return my 6 lost classes) but it’s okay that it takes them on average 7-14 days to reply. Absolutely infuriating and a joke at this point.
April 30 · j jIf your schedule only allows you to attend classes during specific times, like before 8 am on weekdays as it was for me, and you don’t have the time to constantly monitor waitlist spots, this studio may not be the best fit. Popular class times tend to fill up quickly, and it seems that members have priority booking, making it easier for them to secure spots. I opted for the two-week unlimited trial to see if it was worth becoming a member, but found it challenging to find available slots at convenient times. While the training itself is effective—you’ll definitely feel the burn during the workout and the satisfying soreness the next day—I would recommend checking the schedule carefully before making any payment or commitment. Unfortunately, I found myself unable to attend enough classes to make the trial worthwhile, and ultimately decided not to become a member due to the booking difficulties.
September 19 · Ceren Topçu-WeigandLove the classes, Marcelle is amazing!Customer service is atrocious & the people that work there are not helpful & rude. Really disappointing for how much these classes are.
July 09 · Krizia PhillipsJust recently finished my second class and I’m obsessed. I felt that this class helped me focus on muscle groups that I’m usually not working out. It is a great addition to my current workout. I felt that the instructors are encouraging and here for your success! They don’t have a receptionist as many have mentioned in the previous reviews, so just come early/on time as you can only access the facility 10 minutes before the class!
October 15 · juNe LiMarielle was a WONDERFUL instructor. It was my first Pilates group class so I was a bit intimidated/nervous but she was so patient and helpful with me. She provided demonstrations and took the time to correct my form. She provided the perfect balance of critiques and praise. Not to mention the class itself was killer! I would definitely go again. Also, the girls at the front desk were also so kind and welcoming. It made me feel more comfortable overall. It’s obviously expensive but like mostreformer Pilates classes are pricey.
