[solidcore] Scottsdale Quarter Introduce
For residents of Scottsdale, Arizona, the search for a fitness experience that is both intensely challenging and profoundly effective can lead to a variety of options. However, for those who crave a unique workout that pushes physical limits without the high impact of traditional training, Scottsdale Quarter stands out as a distinctive destination. This fitness center is built around a singular philosophy: using slow, controlled movements on a Pilates-inspired reformer, dubbed "Sweatlana," to take your muscles to failure. The result is a transformative, full-body workout that builds strength, stability, and endurance, leaving you feeling "stronger" by the end of each 50-minute class. The immersive experience, complete with low lights and energizing music, creates an environment that is both motivating and focused, a place where you can truly connect with your own physical capabilities.
The core of the experience is its high-intensity, low-impact methodology. The workouts are scientifically designed to break down muscle fibers so they build back stronger. This process is highly effective for building lean muscle and improving overall fitness. The studio offers a range of classes to accommodate different levels, including Starter50 for those new to the workout, Foundation50 for mastering form, and Signature50 for a full-body experience. This tiered approach ensures that clients are always challenged appropriately and have the opportunity to progress. Despite some challenges with initial customer service and communication, the workout itself is consistently praised for being challenging "in the best way," and for creating a full-body "shakes" that indicate a deeply effective session.
It is important to note that the studio has faced some customer service challenges, particularly with billing and communication. Issues like duplicate charges and difficulty reaching a staff member by phone have been a source of frustration for some members. However, the business has shown a commitment to resolving these issues. One customer's experience highlights this, where a "Client Experience Specialist" named Natalia was able to quickly resolve duplicate charges and credit issues via email. This demonstrates that while direct phone communication may be difficult, there is a dedicated team working to ensure a positive customer experience. For those considering joining, it is beneficial to be aware that emailing is the most effective form of contact for resolving administrative issues. This information is crucial for local users to have a realistic understanding of how to manage their account and get the support they need.
A key aspect of the experience is the hands-on coaching. Each class is led by a certified coach who not only motivates but also provides "hands-on adjustments to ensure proper form," maximizing the workout's effectiveness. This personalized attention, even in a group setting, is what allows members to push themselves further than they would on their own. The coaches are known for being encouraging and knowledgeable, creating a supportive environment where you can feel confident trying new movements and pushing your limits. The positive impact of the coaches on the overall experience is clear, with many members praising their specific instructors for being patient, helpful, and energetic.
Scottsdale Quarter is located at 15257 N Scottsdale Rd Suite F1-166, Scottsdale, AZ 85254, USA. The studio is situated within the bustling Scottsdale Quarter, a popular destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment. While the reviews mention that parking in the Quarter can be "horrible," the location itself is easily accessible for residents of North Scottsdale and surrounding communities. The studio's presence in a high-energy lifestyle center adds to its appeal, making it a convenient stop for those who are running errands or meeting friends. It is important for potential clients to factor in the parking situation, but the overall convenience of being in such a central location is a major plus for many locals.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Unfortunately the membership issues are constant. Last month I was charged twice, rather than $165 for the month I was charged $330. Memberships include bringing a friend once a month for free, today I went to book and again I was charged twice making it an additional $50. At this point the inability to call the location to receive assistance is enough for me to cancel my membership and only purchase packages. I just discovered my unused membership credits don’t roll over. It feels a bit disorganized and not customer experience focused. I hope that they’re able to work out these kinks ASAP as it’s now been months since opening.EDIT: Emailing is the best form of contact for this location. I was able to get into contact with Natalia their current Client Experience Specialist. She was able to refund me all of the duplicate charges and help me with my credits. Adjusting rating from 1 start to 4 for the resolution from Natalia. Thank you, Natalia!
July 15 · Lana W.My experience with solid core is frustrating. There is never anyone working the desk, when you call and ask for a call back you will never get one. I have been paying drop ins for a few weeks, everyone knows the Quarter parking is horrible, 3x now I have walked into the studio 3 minutes before class is supposed to start only to hear they have already started. I don’t walk into the room when the door is shut bc I am unaware of the policy and there is no one to ask! I have asked to have my credits extended bc the teacher starts early, which shouldn’t happen. As someone who owns a boutique fitness studio I have been looking for another studio to take class at and what happens here is just frustrating and there is no one to actually talk to about these things. If I don’t get a call back this time I will never go back there again bc it’s becoming frustrating
February 18 · Marirose WeyandThere is no one who answers you at the AZ location. I am trying to cancel my membership and no one is answering my emails, hence they just want you to keep paying for these classes. This is so frustrating in every level. No one is at the front desk. As a new company built in AZ, customer service is key - they need to get this fixed.
April 09 · Hiral ShahI am so surprised to see the negative reviews for this studio. I absolutely love the space, the programming and the instructors. Hannah is my favorite, she's lovely and encouraging while also pushing me to my limits. Parking is limited and my super secret fast parking hack is to simply park across the street in the Sur La Table parking lot, cross at the light and walk for five minutes. Download the app which gives you a code to get in. There's no receptionist so get there 10 minutes early and let the instructor know you're new and they'll cover a few basics with you. Yes it's loud, look around and see what the veterans are doing if you get lost. If you want more before class, check social media for beginners tips and coaching. You can also take the Intro to Solidcore or Foundation50 class.Overall Solidcore is the most challenging workout I've ever done. It's humbling but I feel like I can conquer anything after giving it my best during class!
March 03 · Meredith WatsonI was so excited to try out a Solid Core class after hearing amazing things from friends in other cities, however I was left very disappointed. I first inquired about trying a class on their website and began texting with someone at this location. This person kept trying to sign me up for the Founder’s Membership (which I was interested in pending how my first class went). I explained this to the salesperson, but was told the Founder’s pricing was expiring the day before my first class. I still went to the class and was SO glad I didn’t buy a membership. The instructor was not helpful AT ALL - no corrections, no encouragement, just ignoring me and most other first timers in class. I also consider myself pretty athletic and in-shape, but this class was HARD and did not feel like an intro class. I was glad I tried it to determine it wasn’t a fit for me. Post class, I still continued to get marketing information to sign up for the Founder’s membership (which I was told had already expired meaning I was lied to in order to try to sell a membership). Overall, many of my other fitness friends did not find the intro class enjoyable. It will be interesting to see if this location lasts in Scottsdale or if they hire new salespeople and instructions to compete with the many other boutique fitness gyms (Barry’s, PureBarre, Reformed Pilates, Orange Theory, Lifetime, etc. - all of which I would recommend over Solid Core.
