The immersive experience, complete with low lighting and high-energy music, is intentionally designed to help you tune out distractions and focus on a single, powerful goal: building the strongest version of yourself.
The atmosphere at Rittenhouse is both serious and supportive. The focus is on intense, mindful effort, and the small class sizes ensure that you receive personal attention from the coach. May 08 · Meghan CEnjoyed taking classes here until recently, when I was treated rudely by an instructor for arriving exactly 5 minutes after the start of class, due to a public transportation delay that was completely out of my control. While we conversed, she repeatedly called me "lady," to my face, although I told her my name, and I was polite in response.Contacting customer service was extremely difficult: no response through email or call until I checked in with my complaint again. I received a voucher for a free class, but no apology for the absolutely unnecessarily rude treatment I received.Overall, my experience here was significantly tainted and I don't recommend using the Rittenhouse location.
October 17 · Rebecca LeeI showed up within the 5 minute grace period and they wouldn’t let me join the class. I’ve been coming here for 2 years
May 07 · Tiya BhatiaI went to the beginner class. The instructor was not very helpful and always seemed to be in too much of a hurry to do anything. I would ask her a question and she'd cut me off mid sentence to have a whole conversation with another student. This instructor also kept on fretting about how there's not enough time to do all of the moves which tells me she was really bad at planning her classes. The moves themselves are definitely quantity over quality; she was more interested in getting through as many exercises as possible rather than actually checking our form and preventing injury. And lord, why is there so much talking? I was the beginner and the instructor was more out of breath than I was! And it wasn't useful or motivating, it was irritating and overwhelming. I think the studio needs to train their instructors better. Also the lack of showers is a bummer.
November 01 · MercyItalia is a fantastic pilates trainer. I did the full body class and it was amazing. Hit everything. Really appreciate Italia keeping an eye on me and giving just the right amount of guidance for my first class 🙌
