Shorty Yoga (Kid Yoga) Introduce
In the heart of Beverly Hills, California, where wellness and family life go hand-in-hand, Shorty Yoga (Kid Yoga) stands as a unique and invaluable resource for the community. This isn't your average yoga studio; it's a vibrant, imaginative space designed specifically for children, but with a philosophy that benefits the entire family. As a women-owned business, Shorty Yoga is dedicated to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and joyful environment where kids can learn to connect with their bodies and minds. The studio’s approach recognizes that children aren’t just small adults; they have unique needs and learn in different ways. Through creative games, engaging stories, and a lively soundtrack, the patient and compassionate teachers at Shorty Yoga make the practice of yoga both fun and accessible. The results are nothing short of amazing, with parents reporting that their children become "calm and centered" after a session. For California locals who want to give their children the gift of mindfulness, balance, and physical confidence in a non-competitive setting, Shorty Yoga is the perfect destination. It's a place where children can learn to unplug from technology and connect with their inner selves, all while having a great time. The sense of community and the positive energy within the studio are palpable, making it a beloved institution for many local families.
The philosophy at Shorty Yoga is that yoga is a tool for life, and the studio provides a safe and engaging space for children to acquire these valuable skills. The environment itself is a highlight, described by a reviewer as a space "flooded with natural light" and filled with "adorable details." These thoughtful touches, like a bracelet with letter beads given for class completion, create a rewarding and fun experience that encourages children to return. The teachers are praised for their creativity and patience, with one parent noting how a teacher used a storybook to engage a distracted student, a testament to their dedication and resourcefulness. The welcoming atmosphere extends to the parents as well, who can either participate in classes like "Mamastay" or relax in the lounge area while their children are in class. The studio is also committed to inclusivity, proudly identifying as an LGBTQ+ friendly and transgender safe space, ensuring that everyone in the community feels welcome and respected. The presence of a friendly studio dog also adds to the home-from-home feel, making the experience even more special and comforting for little ones. The entire setup is designed to be a "very nice experience" for both children and their parents, fostering a sense of community and support that is deeply appreciated by those who are a part of it. This emphasis on creating a welcoming and safe space for all is a core part of the business's identity and success.

Shorty Yoga (Kid Yoga) Reviews
Patient creative teachers, the space is flooded with natural light. Plenty of adorable details such as a bracelet with letters for completion of classes and a little doggie who kept us company while our little one attended class. Very resourceful teacher who used a story book to engage a somewhat distracted student. Very nice experience.
August 28 · Lina DoradoI've sent my girls (age 2 and 5) to the children's yoga classes offered. The instructors make teaching kids yoga lots of fun. I was amazed that both of my girls remained perfectly calm during the savasana period at the end and came back to me after the session calm and centered.
March 20 · Andrew LevineThis place is the best. I took my niece Charlotte there for a class and she loved it. The instructor Donna was so friendly and personable. Space was super clean and trendy. Definitely taking her there again and recommend it to my friends.
