★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Finally Found a Place That Keeps Me Consistent!I’ve tried working out many times in the past, both private personal training and group classes, but never kept it up. This time has been different. I’ve been consistently attending sessions at SSP for months now.The trainers are upbeat and knowledgeable. My program is personalized to my fitness level and accounts for past injuries, which I appreciate. The friendly members are all ages and fitness levels. What I was looking for was the right atmosphere, and this place delivers. As an older woman who hasn’t been particularly into fitness, I wanted somewhere I’d actually want to keep coming back to. The environment here is welcoming and supportive. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable regardless of your fitness background or level. The combination of good trainers, a solid program, and a positive community has made all the difference in my consistency. If you’ve struggled to stick with fitness routines in the past, this might be worth checking out.
August 21 · Jinhee KimSSP is a great training environment and the coaching is fantastic! They’re actually interested in our fitness goals and not just selling swag/supplements. If you want to learn to do pull-ups, they assess your current abilities and develop a strategy to help you work toward your goals. The community is also really welcoming and supportive, which I think is rare in a gym.
August 28 · Kevin SlotaI visited the West Seattle location for the trial. While I didn’t continue on to a recurring membership, I did appreciate the time I spent with them. One trainer is present to guide four to six members. This seems to allow plenty of time for some one on one attention while letting the member count out their own sets. Everyone was very welcoming, including the other members. In the end, I decided my specific desired program and the freedom to schedule on my own time were too important to suborn to their schedule and program, but if my needs change, I’ll be back.
August 10 · Josh TurgeonSSP has been such a great experience for me, especially since I started at a fairly beginner level. I’m nearly a year in and it’s the most consistent and comfortable I’ve ever been at a gym! I really do think it’s due to the welcoming environment, super knowledgeable trainers and kind community that I’ve been able to find there. No matter where you are in your fitness journey, SSP is the gym for you!
August 18 · Azalea HermannI was a member of SSP back when it was one location in SLU, so I had pretty high expectations when I joined again under the new owner. Since starting, I have been impressed with the workouts and coaching. The coaches I’ve worked with are great, the gym is inclusive, and the workouts are challenging. They are always willing give people any modifications they need without making anyone feel bad or making a big deal about it.My one complaint is small and it’s the scheduling, I wish there were more group classes.
