Seattle Boxing Gym Introduce
For Washington residents seeking a high-energy, authentic, and deeply supportive environment to achieve peak physical fitness, the **Seattle Boxing Gym (SBG)** stands out as a unique destination. Located in the heart of the city's fitness landscape, SBG transcends the definition of a typical **Fitness center** by specializing in the discipline and intensity of authentic boxing training. Since its founding in 1990 by Coach Carla Wilcox, SBG has grown from an underground institution into a spacious, 5,500+ square foot facility dedicated to fostering a community where everyone, regardless of skill or background, can find their inner champion.
The philosophy at Seattle Boxing Gym is centered on comprehensive wellness: blending sound boxing fundamentals with rigorous cardio-conditioning, strength training, and flexibility work. Members don't just learn to punch; they engage in full-body workouts designed to improve athleticism, confidence, and mental toughness. This dual focus ensures that whether you are an aspiring fighter or a local simply looking for the hardest, most engaging workout of your life, SBG provides the structure and expert coaching to meet those ambitions.
Reviews from long-term members consistently praise the facility's atmosphere, describing it as a **"great community"** with a **"great atmosphere!"** This supportive environment is intentional, ensuring that all Seattle residents feel welcome to step into the **Boxing ring** and begin their fitness journey.
---Seattle Boxing Gym is conveniently located for those living and working across Seattle, particularly in the Queen Anne and Magnolia neighborhoods. The facility is situated just off 15th Ave W, providing accessible transit routes and driving ease.
The full address for the facility is **2001 15th Ave W Suite C, Seattle, WA 98119, USA**.
A significant benefit for Seattle drivers is the availability of **free parking** in a large lot adjacent to the building—a rare and highly valued amenity for any fitness center in the densely populated Seattle area. Accessibility is further prioritized with a certified **Wheelchair accessible entrance**, ensuring that the gym is physically welcoming to all members of the Washington community.
Essential amenities for client comfort and convenience include clean **Restroom** facilities and complimentary **Wi-Fi**, allowing members to manage schedules or stream workout guides. This combination of location, crucial **free parking**, and accessibility ensures that logistics do not stand in the way of a powerful workout session.
---Seattle Boxing Gym offers a tailored, flexible range of services to suit everyone from competitive athletes to families. The core offerings are built upon expert instruction in the sweet science of boxing, coupled with high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and strength work.

---In a market saturated with generic **Gym** and **Fitness center** options, **Seattle Boxing Gym** distinguishes itself by offering three compelling, interconnected reasons to choose its facility: **authentic technique, high-intensity fitness, and an unparalleled inclusive community.**
For the Washington resident who wants to get fit while learning a real skill, this gym offers the best of both worlds. The training is genuinely comprehensive, ensuring members not only get the full-body conditioning derived from cardio, strength work, and plyometrics, but also master proper boxing fundamentals—from stance and footwork to pad and heavy bag work. June 23 · Aleksandr KileWent to SBG for a little over a year. It was a great community snd they had a decent gym setup compared to the majority of martial arts gyms.I moved out of Seattle and I still miss and think about this gym. Highly recommend!
May 21 · JacobI’ve been a member at SBG for over 2 years now and I’ve made tons of friends since my time there. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The classes are great for any level of experience. I mostly do private sessions and have worked with almost all the coaches there, they are all great!I’ve done private sessions with Coach Jacque the majority of my time there and she is constantly challenging me and pushing me to improve. Whenever I become frustrated with myself, she always offers strong words of encouragement to keep me going. (And maybe if you’re lucky, you can get her to crochet you a toy)I also highly recommend trying private sessions with Coach Simona! She is legit!
December 11 · Ruth HoglenWell equipped, amazing staff, group and personal classes, as well as my favorite open gym time. Love this place, and highly recommend for any new students. Come here and enjoy boxing just like I do!
February 25 · Kiryl BulakhAlmost destroyed me - in a good way - after a week on vacation. My husband and I dropped in to check out SBG while in Seattle for a few days on a road trip. The staff were friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. We took a class with Simona, it was very challenging and also fun, she knows her stuff. El made sure we felt welcome when we arrived, too. Between the instruction and watching the other folks in class, it was pretty easy to follow along as a first-timer. We will definitely try another class when we are back in Seattle, and highly recommend.
