★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Roger is an elite coach and one of the very best trainers in NYC. The man lives and breathes boxing and the quality of his teaching and the care he has for his students shows in every single session. He will work to bring the very best out of you and help you in achieving whatever your goals are. I can only talk about my own experiences but after first meeting him more than 16 months ago, I'm still with him and don't see an end in sight. The simplest thing I can say is that I feel so grateful and privileged for having the opportunity to work with Rog. My boxing skills have gone up levels under his guidance. If you’re thinking about working with Roger, I’d put money on it that it will be one of the very best decisions you make.
January 06 · Kevin MathewsWent in for my first boxing class ever and it was an awesome experience! I was a bit nervous considering I’d never tried boxing, but the coaches were so welcoming and informative. They managed to give me a one-on-one experience, while keeping the rest of the team together. The coaches clearly know what they’re doing, whether you’re a beginner or experienced. Highly recommend checking out RVP!!
March 05 · Erica ZFirst off, it’s a bait and switch where after signing up for one class they try to pressure you into 480$ pack- the reason I sign up for a 4 credit classpass is because I don’t have money to join a gym. There are plenty of gyms with unlimited class memberships and more amenities and better facilities for 300$ a month.Second off, I was thrown into a pretty much a full sparring session with no headgear with the regulars on first classpass intro class because of some boxing experience and was hit in the head three times, once by a hard hook when it was just supposed to be a jab only exercise. Ended up recovering from a mild concussion for a full week after. Would not recommend. They are experienced coaches with good instruction but it’s not acceptable to change up the expectations and unspoken rules of engagement halfway through an exercise and just let regulars loose on the newcomers.
July 08 · Ji signed up for a class through class pass. i do not recommend doing that. they use it as a trial class to get you to sign up and pay $480 a month. i sat there for ten minutes explaining to the instructor that i do not have money and i do not want to join. to which i was met by what’s stopping you what’s stopping you. literally $480. i’m upset because i really liked the class and instructors until i was pressured to by a monthly membership. i left feeling icky and taken advantage of.
July 04 · Hannah SchonSuch a great session with Roger. I’m new to boxing and he tailored the class to me and my skill level. Would definitely recommend and I’ll be back!
