January 14 · Cristina JimenezDoug Fioranelli at Rise Above Performance Training is an elite-level trainer that takes his vast knowledge of anatomy, physiology, mobility and sports medicine and combines it with his passion for helping people reach their goals. His classes are demanding and educational, but non-judgmental and enjoyable. His teaching style is calm and focused yet fun and personable! Doug's cool style has led to a unique culture at Rise Above over the years in that his clients find success by practicing kindness and mutual support, which in turn, helps the clients realize the "Fitness for real life" overtones that run through gym's tight community. Classes are fun and often full of laughs, but the workout comes first. Each of Doug's classes come together once a year for a One-Hour Long-Cycle for Charity and to meet and enjoy other clients.If you are Police, Fire, Military or some other noble profession, his noon classes M, W, F will test your mettle and break your ego.If you are a student-athlete looking to improve your game, you're in Doug's wheelhouse.And if you just want to get a good work-out in with no real reason other than to stay fit and meet good people, than Rise Above is the place for you. Whether it be rehabilitation, strength/ conditioning, or physique sculpting; Doug takes the time to generate programs specifically tailored to your needs. In addition to the one on one programs offered at the gym, the group programs are filled with some really outstanding people.The people who Rise Above attracts are down to earth humble human beings who you can’t help but bond with. In the 10 plus years I have been going there I can honestly say that some of my most meaningful relationships have been fostered in that gym.

Whatever level of fitness you are at Coach Doug will help you get better. Kettlebell centric workouts along with full body circuits are so much fun!
