Reformed Pilates Introduce
For residents of Phoenix, particularly in the North Phoenix and Happy Valley area, finding a fitness studio that combines effective workouts with a supportive community can be a game-changer. Reformed Pilates, located in the Happy Valley Towne Center, is a local gem that has earned a loyal following for doing just that. It's not just a place to exercise; it's a welcoming environment where clients of all ages and fitness levels can sculpt, strengthen, and move their bodies in a way that feels both challenging and rewarding. The studio's focus on contemporary reformer Pilates offers a full-body workout that builds strength, improves flexibility, and enhances core stability, all within a group class setting that feels more like a team than a crowd.
The core of the Reformed Pilates experience lies in its unique fusion of classical Pilates elements with modern interval training. This approach, centered around the use of the reformer machine, allows for a dynamic and constantly varied workout. Unlike traditional mat Pilates, the reformer utilizes a system of springs and a moving carriage to provide adjustable resistance, which can both challenge and support the body. This makes it an excellent choice for everyone, from absolute beginners to seasoned practitioners. A key aspect that stands out to local clients is that no two classes are exactly the same, ensuring that the workout remains engaging and prevents plateaus. This variety, combined with the focus on precise, controlled movements, helps members develop a deeper mind-body connection and achieve tangible results.
What truly defines this studio, however, is its people. Customer reviews consistently highlight the exceptional quality of the instructors and the warm, inclusive atmosphere they create. One long-time member, an "older woman" who initially felt she might not fit in with a younger clientele, noted that she loves her studio and has "met some beautiful souls here." She specifically praised an instructor named Giuliana for being "always willing to give me tips/tricks, modifications and loads of encouragement." Another reviewer, who had a less personal experience at a different studio, was blown away by the genuine care shown by the Reformed Pilates team. They mentioned that every instructor makes an effort to introduce themselves, learn client names, and celebrate milestones, no matter how small. This personal touch and commitment to building a genuine community are recurring themes that make this studio a standout in the local fitness scene.
Beyond the instruction, the studio itself is a place that many find inspiring and comfortable. A five-star review mentioned that the studios are "always neat & clean" and "aesthetically pleasing." The environment is designed to be a sanctuary where you can focus on your health and well-being. The studio is well-equipped with state-of-the-art Balanced Body Allegro 2 Reformers, which are widely respected in the industry for their quality and versatility. This investment in high-quality equipment ensures that every client has the best possible experience during their workout. The focus on a clean and welcoming space, combined with the expert guidance of the instructors, makes every visit a positive one.
The benefits of a regular Pilates practice are numerous and extend far beyond just physical appearance. Clients report feeling stronger, more flexible, and having better posture. The low-impact nature of reformer Pilates is particularly beneficial for those looking to build strength without putting excessive strain on their joints, making it a sustainable fitness option for people of all ages. One reviewer noted that they appreciate how instructors "will help to adjust or explain how to do something if clients aren’t doing exercises correctly," which is crucial for preventing injury and maximizing the effectiveness of the workout. This attention to detail and client safety underscores the professional and caring approach of the Reformed Pilates team.
For anyone in the Phoenix area looking for a supportive community and a workout that truly works, Reformed Pilates is an excellent choice. It’s a place where you're not just another face in the crowd; you're a valued member of a community. The combination of a top-tier facility, professional and friendly instructors, and a highly effective workout program makes this studio a perfect fit for locals who are serious about their health and wellness journey.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I truly love my Reformed Pilates studio. I’m a huge fan of Giuliana, she’s always willing to give me tips/tricks, modifications and loads of encouragement. The other instructors I’ve had the pleasure of practicing with have been great too. I’m an older woman & most of the clients are younger but it’s such a welcoming environment and I’ve met some beautiful souls here!
April 16 · Lisa FehlI wish I could give 10 stars!! I have nothing but good things to say about Reformed Pilates. The studios are always neat & clean (not to mention aesthetically pleasing), the instructors are all friendly & very helpful, the app is super easy to use and Pilates in general is such a wonderful way to get some body movement!Huge shoutout to some of my favorite instructors: Alexis P, Sophia R, Jaz H, Olivia H, Giuliana R & Carly C (just to name a few)My Pilates journey started at a different studio back in June 2024 and a friend invited me to try RP. Once class in and I realized what I was missing out on! The other studio didn’t bother to learn client names or recognize milestones. At RP, every instructor (that I’ve taken) makes the effort to introduce themselves to newer guests before class and genuinely seem happy to get to know each client. No milestone goes unnoticed! The instructors are great about congratulating clients as well as the RP team sending the text. I also really appreciate how the instructors will help to adjust or explain how to do something if clients aren’t doing exercises correctly. If you have a RP studio near you, I highly recommend giving it a try. You will not regret it!
June 12 · Amber AlvarezOverpriced for what it is. Classes become too repetitive and boring. I joined mountain time fitness next door for 39.-/month and like their Pilates class so much better! Unfortunately they also refused to cancel my contract eventhough I asked for it to be canceled many weeks ago, I have to pay an additional month before they’ll let me end it. Not sure why they would force someone to go in another 8 sessions if they hate the class, but I guess I’ll just do it so I’m not wasting my money. If you like reformer Pilates, find a different chain, this one is not it. If I don’t get charged another month for nothing, I’ll happily remove this review.
April 17 · S PI couldn't have ask for a better pilates studio to join. I come during the week on my lunch breaks and it has been life changing. Each class is unique/challenging and the instructors are so sweet :)
May 01 · Audrey NajjarI signed up for Reformed Pilates in August when their new Norterra location opened. I have been hooked ever since! Each class and instructor has challenged me in new ways while keeping me encouraged to continue. The studio is always spotlessly clean, the instructors have all been so helpful with modifications as well as progressions for each exercise and it’s always an upbeat vibe in class. I love the quarterly challenges they offer to boost motivation to get more classes in and it’s so fun that they do milestone gifts! I’m absolutely hooked! And I’ve even convinced friends to join as well. Highly recommend!
