★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been going to a variety of workout classes with different instructors for many years, and Jenn is one of the best instructors I’ve ever had. She remembers everyone’s names, and personally really encourages and motivates everyone throughout the course of her class. She also asks for input at the beginning of the class to see if you have anything in particular that you want to work out. If you’re ever doing a movement wrong in a way that will harm you, she will discretely come to you to help you. She never makes anyone feel embarrassed or called out. She always kicks my butt in the best way. Very challenging classes but she instructs so well and has adaptations you can make as needed. Would highly recommend.
September 13 · Julie PirainoI really like this studio! I buy passes and book classes thru the Mindbody app, so scheduling is easy. Denayia and Jennifer are great instructors, and the classes continue to be challenging even after a few months of going x2/week which I appreciate.
January 11 · Kenzie MacDougalWow, this is a killer workout! Vanessa is a master pilates instructor. All of her small adjustments helped me feel the burn even more. Vanessa was also extremely helpful in modifying/checking in after I told her about my shoulder injury. She is everything you want in an instructor- encouraging you to push your limit, while maintaining correct form. I highly recommend taking Vanessa's class for a great, challenging workout!
February 22 · Grace ChangI had a negative experience with my instructor, Vanessa, at class today. She was overly aggressive and critical and it was a stressful and upsetting experience, not the encouraging, fun class I was hoping for.Multiple times she exclaimed to me (or other people in the class) - “what are you doing with your leg?! That’s wrong!” Another time she yelled at me, “that’s completely the wrong move! But oh well” with an exasperated sigh, instead of kindly correcting or offering any sort of constructive advice. I do yoga and Pilates often, but even if I didn’t and if I was new to this, that’s a terrible approach for an instructor to have.I expect so much more from a boutique studio, and I don’t need to be treated rudely by a random Pilates instructor. Her entire attitude and demeanor was condescending and annoying and I would only come back to take classes with other instructors, because I have had other positive experiences here in the past. This class left such a sour taste that honestly I just think my time and money would be much better put to use elsewhere.
November 21 · Joy FrederichG:50 has been the only pilates studio I have consistently visited. My first class was with Jose. I really appreciated his adjustments and encouragements as I'd never done this type of work out before. Jennifer's classes are also some of my favorites! She's very kind and I appreciate how welcome she makes you feel.
