December 06 · Krissy BruewerSo fun. I usually burn 500+ calories in an hour. There is also great variation in workouts to keep your body guessing. I was surprised how helpful it was during pregnancy… it felt like every class we were doing squats! And many teachers have taken prenatal specialty trainings and can provide modifications. Lots of people also come to class with injuries and ride the bike or do alternative workouts to allow their injuries to heal. They benefit from the class atmosphere and fellow classsmates encourage them. I find that 6:15am classes have the best energy, but also the longest waitlists! My only complaint is that I wish there was better understanding among coaches of how to coach pre-menopausal women. During the luteal phase this workout is too intense if you are going full speed. Premenopausal women need to know when it is appropriate to push and when they are likely to stress the body if they follow the workouts directly.

I really love how the environment encourages you to push yourself to do things that you otherwise wouldn't do. The coaches are just amazing and enthusiastic! They are there to offer suggestions and corrections to make your workouts worth the while. I've been going for about 3 months now but I wish I would have started sooner!
