NY Best Kickboxing Introduce
In a city as fast-paced as New York, finding a fitness routine that not only challenges you physically but also empowers you mentally can be a game-changer. NY Best Kickboxing, located in the heart of Midtown, offers a unique and intensive approach to fitness through the discipline of martial arts. This is more than just a gym; it's a school where you can learn a variety of fighting styles, from traditional Kung Fu to the powerful art of Muay Thai, all while getting a rigorous, full-body workout. For those seeking to build strength, improve endurance, and gain valuable self-defense skills, NY Best Kickboxing provides an atmosphere that is both welcoming and motivating.
The philosophy at NY Best Kickboxing is a balance between high-intensity fitness and the technical mastery of martial arts. The classes are designed to be a "perfect balance of cardio/strength training and technical classes to improve your kickboxing skills," as noted by a past client. The focus is on character development and inner strength, prioritizing self-improvement over competition. This approach makes it an ideal place for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. You can step away from the mundane routine of traditional gym machines and engage in a workout that is both purposeful and exhilarating. The curriculum is crafted to accommodate people of all sizes and experience levels, ensuring that everyone can learn effective self-defense methods while pushing their physical limits.
NY Best Kickboxing is conveniently situated on the 15th floor at 247 W 35th St, New York, NY 10001. Its location in Midtown Manhattan makes it highly accessible for residents and professionals across the city. The fitness center is a short walk from major transit hubs, including Penn Station and Herald Square, which serve numerous subway lines (A, C, E, 1, 2, 3, B, D, F, M, N, Q, R, W). This makes it easy to get to class from virtually anywhere in the city, fitting seamlessly into a busy schedule. The facility's accessibility is also a consideration, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance. While the studio is on the 15th floor, the building's elevators make it easily reachable.
While a central location in a commercial building is highly convenient, it's worth noting that the experience is primarily focused on the classes themselves, rather than extensive amenities. The building provides a restroom and a clean space for training. The focus is on the training, the instructors, and the community that is built within the classes.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I loved the classes at NY Best Kickboxing during my four months-stay in the city. They offered a perfect balance of cardio/strength training and technical classes to improve your kickboxing skills. Thanks to the instructors and the group for creating such a welcoming and motivating atmosphere. Will definitely be back on my next visit to NYC
August 15 · Meret MajendieI have never experienced anything like what happened today. The instructor, who also acts as the manager, was extremely unprofessional. He swore aggressively and even cursed us out when we refused to buy his gloves. It was outrageous. His behavior was more like a scam than a service — full of pressure, verbal abuse, and manipulation. Please avoid this place if you don’t want to be insulted, ripped off, or dragged into unnecessary drama. It’s simply not safe or respectful
May 07 · I IIStay Far Away from NY Best Kickboxing — Dishonest and UntrustworthyMy experience with NY Best Kickboxing has been nothing short of a nightmare. I already had rheumatoid arthritis when I signed up (again) — and as my condition worsened, my doctor told me I had to stop all physical activity, including kickboxing. I provided them with clear medical proof, but instead of showing any understanding or support, they outright refused to cancel my membership. They even tried to intimidate me by citing a so-called “§ 624-3” law, falsely claiming that because I had a pre-existing condition, I wasn’t allowed to cancel. This is completely untrue. The real New York law allows you to cancel if you become physically unable to use the services for six months or more — regardless of when your condition began. Their misuse of legal language was not only dishonest but manipulative. To make things even more absurd: they tried to use a membership I had completed in 2015 — ten years ago! — as some kind of excuse, even though at that time, I didn’t have this medical condition at all. That’s how desperate and unethical their tactics are.Instead of working with me, they sent my account to collections demanding over $1,600 for a service I literally cannot use due to my health. There was no compassion, no professionalism, just threats, pressure, and complete disregard for my well-being.If you value honesty, fairness, and basic respect — stay far, far away from this place. They don’t care about your health or your circumstances. They only care about squeezing every last dollar out of you, no matter the situation. This is not a business you want to trust with your health, your money, or your peace of mind.
July 05 · Josefina Mendez ElizaldeI have been in gyms all over the world and i have never in my life had such a bad experience! I booked a class through class pass and at most gyms they usually allow you to rent the gloves, this scammer only had the option to buy the gloves from him. I didn’t want to buy just any gloves and i was gonna do the class with only my wraps for now (like not hit too hard) because was too late to cancel it. All of a sudden he started screaming and cursing at me to leave because he would call the police!! OMG! What for?! Because i didn’t want to buy his gloves?! And he said he was the manager!!! What kind of business is this?! Sooo rude!!! Sooo unprofessional!!!I would like to attach the voice recording but unfortunately i don’t see an option here. I have it for whoever need it and will take this further to Better Business Bureau!
May 07 · MariI started with a Groupon voucher to take kickboxing classes to add some form of cardio to my lifting routines once a week, and now, a year later, I am practicing all 3 of their disciplines and going more there than to the gym. I never thought that one could learn martial arts after a certain age, but surprise, you can. I am in awe of my journey, progress, and improvements thanks to the instructors.FYI, the gym is not some kind of futuristic spaceship; it is a pretty traditional-looking place, according to the traditional martial arts teachings. If you go with the right mindset and pay attention to the class, you will see progress.
