★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1To those that have complained about the service absolutely right. It's almost like you're doing them a favor to pay your money. The facility is not what managed well nor are the employees trying to well. The filters in the pool area are black it appears they haven't been cleaned and who knows how long. Speaking of the polls it has become 24/7 swimming lessons or High School swim team. There are specific hours for the lessons posted and I believe they are 3 to 7 Monday through Friday. I'm frequently there at noon and somebody's giving a swimming lesson and when you only have four lanes and obviously narrows possibilities and then you have to share which is a very difficult thing to do the people who give the swimming lessons having at me are independent and pretty much schedule and do what they want. The manager of the aquatics is referred to informally as 'Mr do nothing'. That is very apt. I've complained several times about the schedule not being followed in he doesn't have any real answer. Keep in mind that though this is northwestern medicines name on the building a company called power wellness manages it. Their pay is based on profitability. Therefore they are going to do the absolute minimum in terms of maintenance they're going to encourage as many swimming lessons as possible at all hours in order to maximize profit. And is somebody mentioned that used to be the cheapest game in town now they've raised prices to the point where they're almost lifetime. Lifetime is a far better and far better maintained facility
August 02 · ken hahnThey have TONS of large towels upstairs and are always low or out of the small towels. Maybe they should rethink what makes more sense UPSTAIRS. This is just a minuscule issue that bothers me.They close the pool at 6 IN THE SUMMER-this is crazy to me! Cater to your members! If not family swim - it should be left open for adult swim. The pool hours are ridiculous. The gym area upstairs is commonly HOT.AND the 2 bathrooms upstairs are disgusting. It’s BS that people pee so much on the floors and the staff has to clean it - which is why they hardly get cleaned. And while I do enjoy seeing teens spending time at a gym rather than getting into trouble- this place is PACKED with high schoolers way too often. This facility is simply not managed well. Whoever’s running this place banks on the fact that this is located in a middle upper class location and people can afford it. They favor their employees over the guests and for the single membership price of $83 a month (AND THEY ARE RAISING THE PRICES)- it’s starting to not be worth it anymore. If it weren’t for location- I’d choose Lifetime 100%.The staff is really nice. I hope they trulyare getting a little raise since our memberships are going up!
August 08 · Ash AnnWe are so blessed to have such an incredible venue to work out and relax. Amazing, well kept facility and spa quality products, towel service and amenities. The incredible staff is helpful & accomodating. Thank you!
August 12 · Sue SheehanAll I gotta say is the facility is absolutely gross. The managers can’t manage nothing and if you ask them questions they act like a deer in headlights. Equipment breaks too much and takes way too long for those to be repaired. They treat the staff like garbage and make them clean stuff that I don’t think is right for the equipment they possess . Just overall experience is bad.
May 04 · Hungry PigletIt’s literally ALWAYS super hot upstairs and that’s WHERE YOU WORKOUT…. They have NO AIR ON UP THERE… I’m always absolutely sweating buckets and I hate it. And it’s soooo outdated there it’s ridiculous. It needs to be renovated soo soo badly. It isn’t even funny! And it is WAY TOO SMALL OF A GYM TO CHARGE $83. WAY TOO SMALL.
