Group Lessons: The studio's main offering is Mysore-style Ashtanga Yoga, which is offered "6 days/week." This daily practice allows students to build a consistent and strong routine. In a Mysore class, students work on their practice at their own pace, receiving individual adjustments and guidance from the teacher as needed. This makes it suitable for all levels, as beginners are taught the sequence one pose at a time.
Led Primary Series: To complement the daily Mysore practice, the studio also offers a "Led Primary" class on the "1st and 3rd Saturday of the month." This class is a group practice where the teacher calls out each pose, providing a different experience and helping students remember the sequence. It's a great opportunity for new students to learn the flow and for experienced practitioners to work on their rhythm and stamina.
Online Classes: For those unable to attend in person, Mysore Yoga Philadelphia also offers online classes. This service option provides flexibility, allowing individuals to maintain their practice from the comfort of their own homes while still being part of the studio's community and receiving instruction.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1If you're the slightest bit curious about the Mysore method, you NEED to give Mysore Yoga Philadelphia a try, or two or three, or more! After my first visit I knew I was going to go back. I was struck by how welcoming, nonjudgmental, and easygoing the atmosphere is ... and of course, Meghan's teaching! Since that first morning, I have seen Meghan use her intuition as she guides each individual in this self-paced approach. If you've never tried Mysore, no worries! She walks you through it step-by-step and makes you feel at ease. Meghan pays attention to and challenges or assists when needed; but, at the same time gives the practitioner plenty of space to do their own thing. I'm so grateful I stumbled in!
May 13 · SandraI was first introduced to Ashtanga yoga by stumbling across some Youtube videos of led primary series classes and was immediately drawn to the practice. After researching studios near me, I found Mysore Yoga Philadelphia. I started with a led class here (since I had previous yoga experience) and transitioned into the Mysore-style practice a few months later.Ashtanga can be an intimidating practice, but Meghan and Sarah make you feel completely at home from the moment you step on the mat. Their adjustments are always offered with care, safety, and respect — and they feel amazing!I highly recommend practicing here if you want to deepen your yoga journey at your own pace in a welcoming, supportive space.
May 12 · Brian HolstMeghan and Sarah are incredible teachers. They are so thoughtful with adjustments and cues and are deeply invested in the wellbeing of their students. They make a challenging practice fun and accessible. I recommend Mysore Yoga Philadelphia to anyone interested in trying Ashtanga!
May 13 · JulieI was so nervous to try Mysore Yoga Philadelphia, but I felt at ease instantly upon meeting the teachers Aria and Meghan! They make Ashtanga Yoga accessible, sustainable, and fun! I recommend this space to all of my yoga students looking to build a personal practice rooted in deep tradition.
May 15 · Sarah CrakeThis program - what I call it as I learn so much just by stepping into this space and feeling my way through the morning - is all about the variety of people who convene here. Meghan Marshall and her dedicated co-teachers are wonderful guides through the asana puzzles. Beyond the official schedule, we often discuss important issues and topics that can expand our understanding of daily challenges, as well as philosophical and moral issues. What more could a person want from the discipline and experiment that is this practice?
